Just wanted to pop on quickly and say thanks to everyone who has posted about my "work" dilemma... really appreciate it...

I think I am going to sit down with OH tomorrow night when the girls are in bed and see what his views are...

I am off to bed now... sink is shiny and no lunchbox has to be done :j

    Thanks again everyone :A

Hi all, missed the last few days of the thread so hope all is well. Yup, I can manage #10 on the weekend list- for tomorrow at least. Bad planning on my part means I'm in work Sunday through 'til next Saturday lunchtime and it promises to be a hellish week so I may not be posting but I will be thinking of you all variously. Have a good weekend lovely lot (I've been on the Cava hic)

    Morning all.

Just having a cuppa before I start the fried breakfast and the cooking for this afternoon.
Bonsi - I'm glad things are coming together for you - hope you slept well for once.

Weather has started off a bit miserable but looks like its brightening up now. As long as it's fine for this afternoon, I don't mind.

Pigpen - I'll do number 10 tomorrow when the overnight guests have gone.

Two fried breakfasts cooked, DW stacked, potato salad made, bed made, BM on and it's only just gone 8am!

Off to make the pastry for the salmon and brocolli tarts in a moment. Whilst it's resting, I'll Dyson the living room

One load of washing out on the line, it looks a bit iffy out there but we'll see.

Everywhere tidied up, beds made etc. I've made a cottage pie for tea. DH has gone fishing and I never know when he'll be home so if I make cottage pie I can just switch the oven on when he gets home and by the time he's put his stuff away and had a bath it's ready. And I don't have to stand there and start cooking at some random time when I might be in the middle of something important (like reading or watching television!).

Paper has just come so I'm going to make coffee now. Back later :)

have had a crazy week and not posted all week- have missed you all though!

we're having a home day today so plan to get some flying done but don't want to spend the whole day on it. we had a really good clean last week so just needs bringing back up to standard:

kitchen - worktops, cupboard doors, appliances, floor, recycling out, window sills
bathroom - loo, sink, bath, tiles
rest of flat - hoover / sweep, put stuff away
    water plants
    post ebay sale
    online shopping for monday night
    WM
    put clean washing away

that should keep me busy for a while, have also got a 20% m&s voucher from my cousin who works there so might go and spend that as we still have vouchers left.

thinking also of buying a food processor with leftover wedding debenhams vouchers - anyone use theirs?

So far, I have got a load of washing on the line, I've sorted out my handbag and am trying to find the DR floor which tends to be the dumping ground for everyone as they come through the front door!

I've not been terribly organized this week, however I have been trying to catch up on my personal ebay challenge (thanks pigpen, I really needed the push!) and today I just need to get the final 5 written up and uploaded and I am all up to date with the 25 items minimum I had planned for!

So far 2 items have bids and a further 3 have watchers. I just hope they all sell first time. The majority end a week on sunday evening, and a few more on monday 7th lunchtime. It's certainly got me thinking more positively that I can just whack a few on the turbolister when I get the chance. I'm going to try to do this regularly and get rid of all our [strike]junk[/strike] spare stuff lol.

I have only a short time left on the PC however, my daughter is frantic about writing up her Drama GCSE thing and says it's going to take her aaages! Chance to catch up on the vacuuming I guess! I'll attempt to post a list now, I know it's going to be huuge but I know I will only cross a few things off this weekend then forget about it and start again from scratch on Monday:

Working in the home may not be as labour intensive as some jobs, and the pay is !!!!!!£.. but it is an intensive, thankless, pi$$ing in the wind, true labour of love.. we would NOT wash skiddy pants for enjoyment..
