Back from school - making models of playgrounds with kids. I had mine though so that was nice as he enjoyed it.

Just having a cuppa then going to do a couple of bits before the swimming run.

Vanilla - you can make icecream without a maker.

Bonsi - I'm glad you have somewhere in Elgin even if it is only tempory, is it close to your folks?

Dusty No inset day in our area on Friday

Bonsi Great news about the house/move. Fingers crossed for the job too.:T

Firefly, Zenjen & other newbies with horrid habits and confessions Welcome! You are not the only one. I start off really well and by Wednesday I have gone off the whole idea of cleaning, but I hope I will get to the end of the week one day. This is only my second week here but things have been done that were well overdue. The only reason I don't live in total squalor is because DH cleans a lot, unfortunately he only does surface cleaning so if you look behind anything or touch the wrong thing it becomes apparent that our house isn't nearly as clean as it looks. I am ashamed to say that time isn't even the issue as I am home full time and my teenage boys don't need much loking after.
When I lived on my own I wouldn't wash up until I ran out of plates (I had 12!!) :eek:Disguisting I know, but I have bettered my ways already (I have a DW now :rotfl:)
Bedding used to get changed once a month if I remembered:eek:. Pleased to say I'm not quite that bad anymore though. Mostly because I don't want DH to leave my due to irreconcilable (sp?) filth!
Again Welcome! your presence at least will hopefully make my feeble efforts look outstanding!:rotfl::rotfl:

Everyone else, Hope you are all having a good day!

Off to have a bath now.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've spent the day doing finances and a "if I had the money this is what I would buy" Asda shop through mysupermarket (which is what I always do on that site), which I'm going to go through and remove all the dream purchases (like various cereals, luxury items, branded goods like uncle bens sweet & sour sauce) and make it more realistic then see if I can get it down to £50-ish and get it delivered Thursday ;)

DD is off to Brownies soon so I'm going to get some jobs done while she is out as I am NOT going to go and waste 90 minutes in Asda and Aldi this week by buying things we don't really need. :o

read up tp age 10, think everyone seems fit and well which is good news :)
Had a good day today here. Woke up at 5am to feed LO as she wouldnt take feed at bedtime last night grrrr and went back to bed with punding headache. Childminder on hols and was meant to be in work early leaving hubs to do school run etc , and decided to take total advantage and had a lie in !!!!! How naughty!!!! Went in to work for 10 worked til 3 then came home for school run and hubs went in for a bit (hes hiw own boss so can be a bit flexible which is great).

Work was great, my boss from the US is over, he's a really good bloke so I have been given lots of really great stuff to do :)

Went to park with my friend and all the kids after school , she has a new job as PR for a theatre and gets loads of free tickets so 4 of us girlies are going to Dancing Queen, an Abba tribute thing on Thursday!! For free!!! And someone else is driving so my only dilemma is what to wear!!! I am really excited, not been to the theatre in years. The downside of the park was LO projectile vomited all down me and I only had older ones sun hats to mop it up with LOL swear I can still smell it ........

Kids have had early tea, as has LO she is now in bed as I have to get her up in a bit so we can all go up to open evening at school, DS class have made an airport, I saw it yesterday, its fab,he is very excited that it'll be on display.

After that will drive home then up to gym for spinning at 8pm. No wonder I am knackered!
No flying, oh well except I did hoover the hall.

Right just going to reheat last nights leftover shepherds pie for me and DH to scoff before heading out in 10 mins! (and hes not actually home yet either)
