Thanks for the info lil_me - and you're right we can get royally ripped off for postage costs to send things here!

My main task for today is to compile my meal plan - it's on my list so I must do it :rotfl:. I did the hall, stairs and living room yesterday, but I must re-vac the living room as it's almost constantly covered in crumbs!

Welcome firefly. Baby steps. Just try for level 1 at first and build up gradually.

Oh lunch time - I love summer - so much fruit to choose from, grapes and peaches for me today. Must pick more strawberries later.

Window cleaners just been and whilst they were here I was thinking it has been the same price to clean them since we moved here 7 years ago. I was just thinking I bet they will increase the price soon when they knocked on the door and yes you have guessed it going up from next clean. I don't mind. They are nice guys and have kids so there bills will have gone up like the rest of us.

DS2 room done and others hoovered so that is it for now. I will clean the sink before I go and leave a spot of bleach down the plug wholes.

Pigpen if you see this have a good time

Welcome Firefly - you will soon get into the habit of doing things. Just remember all those small steps add up.

Lil-me - good luck with the studying
Pigpen - have a fantastic time, I am so jealous
DustyKitten - we're in Northamptonshire and the kids aren't off school on Friday, thank god lol.

Well I've done some website work, done 30minutes on wii fit, had a shower and now going to grab some lunch before I nip into town. Oh nearly forgot I've put the washing out on line as well
    Catch you later.

Vanilla - fingers crossed for your FIL - sounds like it is a right to-do. I have absolutely no suggestions about what to do with cream but envy your dilemma. Do you have an icecream maker?

Just passing through to say thank you again to pigpen.

Also wanted to say that I had a really positive experience with Health Visitor today, but they are COMING ROUND TO MY HOUSE next week. What a great incentive to get cleaning.

    Hugs
    Always another chapter

    Vanilla

Victoria sandwich for butter 6 oz/6 flour/6 sugar 3 x eggs fill with whipped cream and fruit.

Fruit fool with the cream if you can get some fruit to fix through it

ice cream - can make with a tub of ready made fresh custard to the same volume of cream plus tinned milk.

Post on the quick question about anything thread or check out the receipe thread - type in cream. There is a website where you can type in ingredients and it gives you receipes but I can't remember what it is called.

And they only have 5.5 weeks off for summer.. bonus!

Jammy moo!! I think ours have 6 weeks and 3 days, they finish on a Tuesday or something stupid, they're not off on Friday. It isn't even LEA specific now, schools choose their own. Pigpen wish I could, noone to leave the boys with, several assignments due and squidillions of appointments and meetings this week, it's chaos!

Well that's question 2 nearly all done, couple of 'stuck' bits left but mostly done. Having lunch now, found some prawns in the freezer on my last dig through, yummy, tummy giving me serious grief today (usually gets worse at times of stress) which isn't helping get the studying done, call me lazy but I do wish we had a downstairs loo, my legs hurt!

DP doesn't need me to go with him tonight so that gives me tonight and then tomorrow morning (after appointment and before sports day) to do question 3. I'm actually quite pleased how well it's going this time, even if the rest of what I need to do has suffered - the conservatory is full of clean/dry clothes, my bedrooms a disgrace, I just nearly broke my neck walking into DS2s room (tidied his brothers but won't do his own smaller room ) bathrooms ok which must be the only room I can say that about, dining room and kitchen DON'T EVEN GO THERE!!!

:rotfl:Oh well I'm sure I will catch up next week.
One day I might be more organised...........

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
