  • Morning everyone,

Hope you're all ok? I'm not sure how much I'll get done today as my mum and dad are coming over which means a pub lunch, so I'll just have to have a glass of wine ;) which will render me useless for the afternoon! But I'll do my best.

Gorgeous day here again so will go and put some washing in now and hopefully get off to a good start....

    Have fun everyone...

Editing to say I've just remembered I've got the dentist as well this morning at half 10.. grrrrr. I'm all nervous now!

    Good morning peeps,

Cookie, Hex, thanks for the messages of solidarity, it’s nice to know that there are people out there who have wrestled with/are wrestling similar problems to my own. I’m glad I could make you smile. Also thank you to all of the other lovely welcomes from so many friendly people, I certainly feel very welcomed here!

I had a pretty good day yesterday. Did all the kitchen chores I said I would, and a lot of my extra jobs. I’ve still got to find time over the next few days to make fudge as my whisk has disappeared!

    Anyhow, on to today’s list:

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing. See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!
    Extra Mission:
    1. Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    2. Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    3. Clean a window or two.
    4. Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves
I am not going to add anything to this list other than doing the washing up from yesterday and putting away the laundry!

Have a great day peeps, I will be back in around lunchtime to let you know how things are going!

Ifits your kitchen looks brill, well done.
Tia Well done to your DS.
Mudbath well done on the exam.
    Soappie it looks great.

I'm waiting on Tesco and then if he comes early enough then i'll head to B&Q and get a quote for kitchen, didn't go to MFI on sunday because you have to book an appointment so left my details and there to get back to me. Most go and measure up and i'll start the list later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Morning all, been studying since I got back with the dos so think I deserve a break, plus I hit a 'stuck' bit, not too bad as I've answered loads more than I usually do before hitting a stuck bit. Decided after battling with it for way too long I will go back to it later and start something else. I just get bogged down in failure mode if I don't.

g&b she's a cutie isn't she, you can see the mischief in her face.
JustaMum it kills just about anything that crawls/hops etc, we found out we had a woodlice problem after I used it, still keep finding dead ones now so it does work for the months and months as stated! Try www.wormers.co.uk or www.petmeds.co.uk oh and I think they do cashback on Quidco. If you search for pets on Quidco there is quite a few that do cashback, just compare the prices (and postage charges, think it's wormers that doesn't charge postage on top) they're about half the price of ones at the vets and a big difference from pet shop prices. I am however aware that sometimes yous in the Isle of Man get diddled when it comes to postage but worth shopping around. Oh and it smells quite nice too which is weird.
Mudbath well done to you and your DD
Pigpen have a wonderful time, enjoy it for me aswell, wish they'd have been touring up here as DP was going to take me for my birthday **sobs**.

Ds2 was throwing a sticky 'eye' at the window in the living room yesterday and I have just seen what a gakky mess it's made of it, little tinker (see I didn't swear, I'm trying not to today :D ) living room is actually full of DPs junk for the club, so hoping he puts it in the car this afternoon, can't clean up until it's moved and I ain't moving it for him. I do need to get more work done on this assignment before I even think about tackling it however. The washers about ready to finish and will hang that out before I start my next question (second part of Question 2, 1 1/2 to go!)

**yawns** suppose I better et this washing out, clean up the dog wotsits and get some more studying done or I will end up online all day and doing it tonight and tomorrow in a mad rush :o toodles xx
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all, just having a cuppa.

Been working on bits off the list.

Washing on the line - it is lovely here so kids bed linen in the machine now.

Back to helping in DS3 class this afternoon after a break for invigilating. Boss just rang and I have 3 sessions next week now too so that will be a few more £s to last over the holidays.

OH is in the last month of his contract now so we are waiting to see if he can stay on or has to look for another job again - 11 months sure has passed quickly.

Swimming tonight although DS3 had a sore throat this morning (he didn't want to go to Beavers last night - most odd, so he might not feel great).

Going to brave DS2 room now as it is 'his week' for kids bedrooms and we are off to thorpe park on Friday - anybody been? Any tips?
