It's ridiculous how much stuff is gone already! I had several tops on my list that have completely disappeared - along with TWO pairs of shoes for my husband. He doesn't even wear a common size (in fact, neither do I - in shoes), so it's ridiculous that that stuff can be gone ALREADY. I like the VIP idea (if I'm lucky enough to get one), but I think there should be a £200 order limit. If you need more than £200 worth of stuff, you can wait until the 'normal' sale starts on Saturday.

Just a bit miffed, is all. What's the point of VIP if things are sold even before THOSE slots are done?!
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Im not against the VIP slots but what I am against is the fact that a VIP can be ordering the exact items at half prief at the same time as a non vip pays full price, that just doesnt seem fair or ethical. One price for you and another for me.

If Next want to do the VIP then I think the sale items should no longer be available to purchase by others at full price.

It doesnt sit easy with me different prices for different people that is not the same as giving regular customers an advance order.

Maybe would be fairer if everyone got x amount of items or x amount of order total. Or if the criteria for selecting VIPs were laid out so everyone was aware whether or not they would be getting a slot.

Could boost Next sales actually, if you had to for examply order x amount of items in the last quarter to qualify etc

Isnt the online sale just the directory stock from the warehouse? I dont think it has any bearing on individual shop stocks.
  • Well I had my delivery guy bring me 26 parcels at 8 this morning!! Just been through it all & about half is full price from the order that was put through in error & the other half is sale price. Still not got everything though

My vip slot was 5:30 on Weds so hopefully I will get some of my order today. Am a little worried now though, Next seem to have made a number of errors with the pricing.

am i the only one who is kinda miffed that next even have a vip scheme !

by the time its satday im surprised if there is anything left for the rest of us

is the sale stock in the shops seperate to that of the directory btw?

I have to agree. I did not have a Next VIP slot. Was waiting to order online on Saturday. Just checked some items I had my heart set on, including a dress I wanted to wear to a wedding, and they are ALL out of stock, even though before the VIP sale started the system was saying there were at least 7+ in stock in my size. Really disappointed. It's unreal how much one person is allowed to order and unfair on those who can't get to a store.

A quick thought. For all the people who have had items unavailable in the sale keep checking back as returns are received by next they may become available.

Next bring alot of these problems on themselves -

who is going to buy from NExt in late June/ July because the sale is coming.

They do VIP slots which alienate people, when they do do a slot they only allow half an hour, so people over order to then return them later.

The staffing levels must have to be huge and we all know how over inflated Next prices are as the sale is usually 50% or less and I bet they still make a profit on that!

Sale stock not delivered before monday 21. Yes I hate the VIP slots. I have had one for the last few years, but if you don't get wednesday night forget it. It is simply not fair and I always hate the unfair retailers - like Tesco and Redoute giving some people codes.

I really dont se the need of people spending £500+, I'm lucky if I can go in a store with full priced clothes and find enough stuff I like to buy which comes to over £100!

People just go a bit mad and it is quiet unfair, but there are no rules against it.

I'd be happy with one or two bargain bits for my newborn.
