  • Fingers crossed then.

I haven't had chance to warn my neighbour that I've nominated them to take delivery, lets hope they're still talking to me!

I'm not sure whether to go to my local store at 5/6am (only small store) or wait until I can order online at 8am. It seems like so much is out of stock already online and I wanted to buy baby clothes. Any suggestions? Brave the shop or risk online??

what size baby clothes are you after? girl or boy?

i will have a quick look at the vip sale listing to see how much is left on-line.

I had a 5pm slot on weds which was the first one and even then there was virtually nothing for my two year old nephew!

I would go to the store if I were you, there is almost nothing left of baby clothes online, what was 73 pages has twindled down to 30, and it will be even less by the morning. You're more likely to pick stuff up instore, as long as you're early!!

Thanks for your replies - I've never braved the Next sale before but as I'm pregnant I thought it would be worth getting some bits. I'm only looking to buy about 12 items that I really love and most in either 0-3 or 3-6 months. I may brave the crowds and get to the store for 5am but not looking forward to the idea with my big bump!!

if you go to the next homepage you can have a sneak peak (for those of us who havent ordered yet) at the sale, i dont know when it was last updated, not many sizes left though, hope this helps.

I managed to get most of what I wanted for my baby girl, although I was buying 6-9 and 9-12. Just remember to buy depending on the season if getting bigger sizes. No use buying shorts and tshirts that will fit baby when it is winter.

I don't see why people feel its unfair for someone to spend over £500. Surely, it depends on family size etc.

I said i spent almost £500 this time but I have two children this time (last time my son was just a baby) and have bought things for myself which I wouldn't normally.

If you are lucky to get a VIP slot then I think any of us would take advantage of it as much as possible. Even if that means buying two sizes of something, or duplicate items so you get the chance to choose which you want and then return the unwanted's as things go out of stock straight away.

I'm sure those who go to the sales in the shops don't think about the people who might buy after them when they're picking their items etc.
