is the sale stock in the shops seperate to that of the directory btw?

Yeah I think the VIP thing is daft too. I was very lucky and got a slot this time but this is only the 2nd time (had one for the mid season sale in March for the first time). Before this I managed to order by ringing up the order line and just saying I wanted to place an order off the sale listing. Time before that there was an online glitch that allowed non-vips to order. It was really frustrating when it would get to the actual sale day and there was virtually nothing left.

I too didn't have a VIP slot so have just been to one of the City of London stores and spent £450 (only about 6 things for me)! I got there at just before 6 and there was plenty of kids and baby stuff then although not much when I left. I've now been at work for an hour and this could be a really long day!

I rang them last night about my order going through at full prices, the chap just said a lot of e mail confirmations had gone through with full prices but got to check when I get the invoice, Im a bit worried now as I dont want to keep the things I ordered and then get charged full. He was not very helpful at all.

februarycat - this happened to me last year and I had to ring them once id returned everything i didnt want and give them the list of what i was keeping. they then put it through half price.

I had a real hassle as they also told me over 4 days of calls they'd lost my order and had to keep ringing back etc..then they found it but cost a fortune in calls and stressful so i got some vouchers as i complained.

Just been looking at my quidco account, and my orders have tracked and validated too - but I didn't go through quidco! I was a bit worried about doing it as the email said you had to shop through the link given in it to ensure you receive sale prices, so that's what I did - used the link in the email. Very strange?!
