Slim PS2 + £32.60 in Boots points for £104.99

I have always found Boots online to be a reasonable company to deal with.
Last year I ordered a boots experience, It came up cheaper a week after I had ordered it, so I ordered a new one and returned the original.
The same has happened again......I have already ordered and recieved a ps2 from Boots, but when I saw this mistake offer, I decided to order another one, knowing that I can return the original if it does arrive.

Does anyone know if Boots sell PS2 games instore or just online?

In reply to your questions emdee,1) At what point is my order "accepted" by Boots, creating this legally binding agreement?
2) My interpretation of the above comments suggests that Boots can cancel the order at any time prior to the goods being despatched. Is this correct?
3) If they cancel the order for any reason, would I be able to claim "loss of bargain"?
1) Your order is accepted by boots when they send you an e-mail saying they have accepted your order. But they do have get-out clauses to protect themselves.
2)Yes, Boots can cancel the order at any time. See aforementioned get-out clauses.
3) I doubt you would be able to claim ''loss of bargain'' as they only have a (legally binding?) contract with you once they have debited your account. They only debit your account after they despatch the goods.

Thanks for the answers. The email I received gives order number, details of the item I ordered, expected delivery date, price etc. and thanks me for shopping at Boots.com, but does not say anything about the order being "accepted", rather it says "Thank you for ordering from boots.com. Your order details are listed below. If you wish to check the status of your order......"
You say the (legally binding) contract only exists once they have debited my account. This suggests that they do not accept the order until they have despatched the goods ??? yet I could not cancel the order as it has already entered the processing stage ???How do I add a signature?0 -
why don't you just sit back and wait to see what happens? That's what I'm doingYou'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0

Well I've ordered a PS2 and opted for Saturday delivery, so I'm expecting it tomorrow. If it doesn't arrive I'll be claiming that £5.95 surcharge back!0

Because that's too easy, and I never take the easy route anywhere ::)How do I add a signature?0 -
Distinct possibility that we have been rumbled, I have logged on to buy one of these and all the PS2's are showing as out of stock
Also have tried (other items) re the automatic 10%off and that appears to have gone too.
The other codes still work.
Good luck if you have ordered.0 -
I just got an email saying "Your boots.com order has been dispatched". Again listing the extra 2000 points, and the 10% discount. Thanks again ;D0
