In addition to the iPod bargains to be had at Boots with triple points and a free 2000 extra points code (TTXG98 )...
Boots also sell the new slimline Playstation 2 for £104.99. On the surface, this may not seem to be the cheapest price available. However, read on...
Using the 2000 extra free points code (TTXG98 ) and availing yourself of triple points (on offer until Sunday 14/11/2004) you can obtain a total of 3260 advantage card points against this purchase. This is worth £32.60 towards future Boots purchases, reducing the effective cost to an amazingly cheap £72.39.
Something tells me that stock of these items will be very short lived!
Stock levels as of 10pm yesterday (10/11/04) were124 units - they now have less than 90 left.

Almost goes without saying too that going via one of the Cashback sites gives another 2.25% cashback reducing the nett cost further

In fact its 2.5% at rpoints - https://www.rpoints.com/go0 -
I just added one to the basket, and it says this

Basket summary
Contains: 1 item
Total: £94.49
No idea why, but at the checkout it said "Discounts - 10.50".
Many thanks... (and just stuck my silver ps2 on ebay heheh)0 -
Ordered mine, but I don't have an advantage card.
Called the Boots 0845 number, and got a card registered straight away.
Put the order in, and got 3400 points which takes the price down to around the low sixties!
Nice one!0 -
Ordered mine, 3259 advantage points.
That was the easy part. Now I've got to convince she-who-must-be-obeyed that we *need* it
How do I add a signature?0 -

Wow Reestit Mutton your a star, just got one.
Think it may have ended though, I got one for me then thought this would be good xmas preasent for my bothers boys so went back in and tried to get another, now it says:
Sorry, but the promotional code you have used is not valid at this time
Or are you only allowed to use the code once?
Thanks Tony.0 -
Boots are deducting a straight 10% discount when added to basket - put in the 10% code of HFDM48 and you get another 10% off.0

Make sure you dont have a space on the end of the code - I feel for that one too. Cut n paste traumas.0 -

Can only have 1 code at a time by the looks of it.
With the 10% off it brings the total to £71.40 (taking into account points, but not rpoints)
With the triple points voucher, it brings it to £61.90 (again not taking into account rpoints).
Or, atleast, those were the figures I got....0
