Ordered mine, but I don't have an advantage card.

Called the Boots 0845 number, and got a card registered straight away.

Put the order in, and got 3400 points which takes the price down to around the low sixties!

    Nice one!

How did you get the number from them?

    I never got any number?

    Thanks

    To quote myself :
With the 10% off it brings the total to £71.40 (taking into account points, but not rpoints)

With the triple points voucher, it brings it to £61.90 (again not taking into account rpoints).

Guess it depends on whether you shop in Boots. If you have a card and are going to use it (perhaps for Gift Sets for Christmas?) then the points are better. Otherwise, take the 10% discount.

I have just regiestered for an advantage card as i havent got one, however i can put my mums number in the mean time. Will these points be added straight to the card, or what do i have to do.

Furthermore on the triple points, do they just get added automatically, as i havent seen a code for them, just a code for 2000 points

    Thanks for all your help

  • Wow Reestit Mutton your a star, just got one.

Think it may have ended though, I got one for me then thought this would be  good xmas preasent for my bothers boys so went back in and tried to get another, now it says:

Sorry, but the promotional code you have used is not valid at this time

Or are you only allowed to use the code once?

    Thanks Tony

It appears that you can only use the code once.

To cut a long story short, I placed an order and used the code, all worked fine. Due to an error on my part I had to cancel the order and then re-order. ??? ???

When I tried to re-order I couldn't use the code. So I registered my wife's adv card and tried again.

Hey Presto the code worked, ;D ;Dand PS2 on its way.

    Hope this helps. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • Heh heh just ordered the PS2/Driver 3 bundle and after the 10% off it comes to £107.99. Take away the 3439 points I get with the points offer and the total is only:

    £73.60!!! hurray!

Super spotting here, well done Reestit!

P.S. I originally dithered about buying it, and after going through the checkout a few times it started to refuse the codes. If you want them to work again (this worked for me...) then clear your browsers cache, forms and cookies and they should go in ok :) )

Is there a way to convert those Boots points into cash? I don't really like buying stuff at Boots (other than this time ::))
