Expect stores to be short on stock round Christmas - seems to be a good way to maintain interest!

If you use the 2000 points instead of the 10% that's equivalent to £20 in store plus the £12.59 from the triple points, that makes the ps2 about £72, plus any cashback from rpoints and the like.

The points are worthless to me as I don't have a Boots Advantage card. I applied online but it takes 5 days so I read on here, and that will be too late.

The "five day" period refers to the time it takes for the points to be credited to your card.

The card, from registering takes a couple of weeks!

However, if you phone the 0845 number that I posted on the first page, they give you your number over the phone, so you can use it straight away.

I couldn't get the codes to work when I logged into Boots in my name.

So re-registered in my husband's name, applied for his advantage card and ordered .......This allowed me to use the codes (I chose the 10% off code) as well as the 10% automatic discount.

As his card is going to take some time to process, so he couldn't collect any points, I entered my clubcard number in the box provided. Therefore husband has got the goods and the discounts in his name, but I still got the 1259 points!

Maybe you have a friends clubcard that you could use?

Failing that you are welcome to add any points you wish onto mine

does any1 know if i buy one of these now that they are still in stock or not?

i know you can still buy one on the site, but do they still have them in stock?

I've got a spare temporary card if anyone wants the number.
I'm well pleased.I've been looking out for PS2 for my mum(brothers 30th Birthday pressie)and missed the Argos offer for a PS2 and a game for 104.
So ordered a PS2 and will use the 32 quid worth of points to buy a game for him.

It isn't my card. It's a temporary one that you pick up in Boots I always have some spare in case anybody needs one. it allows you to shop and collect points until they process the application then the points on the temporary card are transferred to your new card.

The reason i have a spare card is i picked up 3 from Boots today and have used 2 of them to register myself and a friend.
So, the spare can be used.
All you have to do is take the number and then fill out your details when you register.
You will then be sent a proper card eventually.
