debug77 - when did you order and what delivery method did you go for?

Ordered it yesterday morning (11:10am) and went for weekday delivery (chose monday 15th). i really hope it doesnt arrive tomorrow as I'll be out!

Wonder how they process their orders. Don't want to stir up a viper's nest of "it's not fairs", but my ack. email was timed at 11.20am, and I didn't get it for about 15 minutes after I'd placed the order. I didn't choose a premium del either, and it was acknowledged for 22nd Nov and is still showing as "being processed".

I did order an mini ipod from boots a few weeks ago and rang them up to cancel as they hadn't processed it yet. But they said that the online site is not updated straight away and that the goods were already despatched.

I must say I also have always found boots.com very helpful when any problems have arisen with my orders ! ..... Very POLITE as well !

just tried the boots site for a slim ps2...all out of stock (

When it comes back into stock, you can use either/ or one of these codes.

TTXG98 = 2000 advantage card points (= £20.00 to spend instore)

MPDJ98 = 10% off your order.

Either way you get free delivery for orders over £40 and collect 4 advantage card points (=4p) for every pound spent. This weekend is a triple points weekend ..... so 12 points for every pound spent.

Am i right in assuming that i cannot pre order a ps2, and will possibly miss out on the 'triple points' offer?

am frustrated...been put in charge of the works xmas draw......trying to find good bargains for it


want to get the following

DVD Recorder as 1st prize (hopefully under £250)
Ipod or ps2/xbox
digital still or video camera


anything else that springs to mind that will hopefully make it a good draw

No you can't pre-order, but you can ask them to e-mail you when it comes back into stock.

Beware of this.....last time I wanted something I requested e-mail. It came back into stock on Monday and I ordered it. The e-mail arrived on Thursday, by which time it was out of stock again.

My advice is to keep checking the website on a daily basis.
