Heh heh the slim ps2 is going on ebay for £112 without a game and not considering postage, *if* mine arrives then I'm really tempted to sell it and wait until after christmas to buy one, using the profits to buy a game!

Seeing as you cant spend your Boots points online - do Boots Direct do PS2's and XBOXs?

No Direct shop in Brum City Centre so cant check this out.

If you saw it in stock, then you were lucky, but for most of England, the PS2 is very much out of stock due to huge demand.

Perhaps Sony are doing what Apple did with the Ipod-Mini.

Ipod-Mini's made enormous profits for people selling them on Ebay, and these same people are hoping to rake it in with the PS2.

Limiting the stock and creating a huge demand is a good marketing tactic. People will want one just because of the rarity value, and thus help to increase sales even further

There is still plenty of time for more stock this year.

I've just received my Boots.com Xbox, with triple points and 20% off, plus 20 soft toy tokens! Bonus!

Says out of stock on website this morning and my order said "processing" this morning so I was a bit worried. Not any more!

The Aylesbury GAME shop yesterday was showing a sign saying "out of stock" but I heard the manager telling one of his staff that they did have a few in stock - so ask!

p.s. People really should have bought them when they first came out and Argos were selling them at £99.99 with a free controller and DVD remote. Don't suppose they'll have any left now.
p.p.s. I bought one of the old ones from Argos for £79.99, then returned it when I saw this Boots offer! I better get this one through (scheduled for delivery on 23rd) or I'll be in big trouble with Father Christmas.
