;D My New Slim PS2 arrived today from Boots ;D. I ordered it on the 11th November at lunchtime with standard delivery, estimated delivery was 23rd November. I cant believe the size of the console its really compact. A really good bargain at £83.99.
Now I have to start looking at PS2 games to play on it.

  • Interesting to see that the winning bidder has 0 feedback, so is it possible that the seller has used this to push the price up as high as possible, whilst invoking number 3 of his t&c - "I do not accept bids from negative or zero feedback bidders. Sorry, but that’s the way it is and for obvious reasons. Any bidders ignoring this will have their bids cancelled and no correspondence will be entered into."

Nice trick huh! Pushed the price up - although the 2nd highest bidder only has feedback of 3!

He was bidding for his own PS2 under a different ID, but got too greedy and won his own sale ;D ;D

The zero feedback on the bidders gives the game away.

It's an old trick to get the price up.

Looking at his T's & C's, point six sounds strange...

"I am not a trader or dealer, just another eBayer with a spare phone".

What's a spare phone got to due with it?

Perhaps that should have read "additional e-bay ID?"

I see what your thinking, but the winning bidder has bid on other PS2s.. and if you are shill bidding, why bid in the final seconds of your own auction? The risks of it going t*ts up is too great...

any way.. tempting to sell the kids xmas pressie on.. and buy them something else... ;D

Mine turned up this morning, I think. My Nan just phoned me to say a parcel arrived for me. ;D Thanks to the original poster, I missed the 10% mistake but I got everything else. My points balance has never looked healthier.

Thats good news, did you pay extra for quick delivery? I ordered my one right at the start of this (when 10% was still included) and am still showing delivery before 22nd, just hoping I will still get it on Monday.

I know others who have ordered one after me but included quick delivery have got theirs.
    .
  • The reason these are selling for so much on ebay is that people who didn't want one bought them all so us people who really did want one / need one for child for xmas are having to pay way over price to get them.

I luckily managed to bag the only one that argos had in at peterlee in the north east but only through a week of checking stock and reserving.
    Snootchie Bootchies!
  • surely if they are selling for that much on ebay it is worth buying at full price to sell on !!!!!!!!! :-X :-X :-X
