The reason these are selling for so much on ebay is that people who didn't want one bought them all so us people who really did want one / need one for child for xmas are having to pay way over price to get them.

I luckily managed to bag the only one that argos had in at peterlee in the north east but only through a week of checking stock and reserving.

No, that isnt the reason they are selling on ebay for that price!
Some people have more money then sense, if they really want one that bad and are willing to pay that price then fair enough! It seems alot of people on this site are against people who sell on ebay, I dont get it, this is a money saving website, and not only do I save money from this website I have made money from it too. (That included money I have made off ebay by buying bargains found on mse and selling them on for a good profit!) As a mum of two children under 3 and a disabled partner is anyone going to deny me this?
By the way I have never bought more them one item ever found on this website!
  • Yaay,

money taken out of my account and showing as Dispatched,
    not to ebay the blighter!

Yes, because it isn't fair what your doing. I'm sure if Sony or the retailer found out you were selling the goods on for a marked up price they wouldnt be very impressed with you.

Its the moral that you have bought it to sell it, when there are people out who realy wanted one and greedy people like you are buying them and selling them to make a profit. In my eyes that isn't on fullstop no matter what your situation is.

  • So is buying a new slim PS2 and then selling your old one on eBay for more than you paid for the new one wrong?

Just asking, it isn't me as I have an xbox :D

Okay, so everyone's entitled to their opinion but is this really the place to start moralising?

This site is just becoming full of people waiting to jump down other's throats for posting stuff in wrong places or being suspicious of where links come from etc and now this!

Come on guys, back to the money saving! We're here to help each other not bite each other's heads off!
One thing I'd really hate....is to have a nail banged through the back of my neck.

Forgot to mention, although I didn't order a ps2, I did order something else from the Boots site at the same time as everyone else ordered the ps.

My order has apparently been dispatched, but it is still showing up as 'being processed'. The site doesn't update well, so if anyone is still concerned, then phone customer services. 0845 609 0055.

fAnyone help me out here pretty please:-
I ordered a PS2 through Boots on 11/11 asked for delivery 13/11 never recd it. They are telling me these have been out of stock and for the past 3 days I have been arguing the fact that "a friend" who ordered after me on normal delivery has recd theirs (as many MSEs have). I now have to put details in writing for some sort of compensation. Anyone willing to email a copy of their order & delivery note showing that they have taken delivery this week. Please PM if you can help............... Thanks
  • ;D Got mine! ;D

Still showing on my boots account that the order is bieng processed! No money taken as of yet either!

    Thankyou to the original poster!

I am now on the lookout for a vertical stand, anybody know where to get one?

    ;D

Get off your high horse mate, I am not breaking any law and it is none of your business what I do with my money.
How is it greedy? I bought ONE.
Woolworths have recieved thousands of orders due to this websit off people spotting pricing errors and putting in orders to try and get items cheap, is that morally right?
