How would you do that ?
Close down this website and all similar bargain hunters sites ?
Close down all online auction sites ?
Close down every online store and thus preventing all sales ?
No laws are being broken, and it's not your place to decide what people do with items they have bought.0 -
I for one don't feel guilty about buying a PS2 to sell. Every time Sony release a new console they always experience "difficulties" in supplying stores, which leads to a huge demand and then, suddenly, the difficulties disappear and a load are sold. Every time. If you have a problem about getting one then talk to the supplier, they allow this to happen.
So now I'll make a few quid because some people who can afford to pay more than the RRP will do so. Sony won't be bothered because they've already got their cut of the money from Boots. Boots likewise have got their cut. I took a financial risk and spent time in tracking down and buying the PS2, so hopefully now I'll be rewarded for my effort.
Morality wise, where's the problem? It's not as if they'll never be any PS2s made again, or that someone will die or be hurt because they didn't get a PS2 for christmas. Any smart kid would be a little upset, but if it was explained that to buy a PS2 before christmas would mean getting less presents from Santa, then I'm sure the kid would decide pretty quickly on what they'd prefer. I was offered that same choice as a child about getting a Nintendo NES system.
This site is about moneysaving, yes, but why should you begrudge other people using information on this site to make a little money?0 -
I think everyone's had their say now and we should let this drop.
We all have our own opinions about things and I don't believe anyone is any more righteous than anyone else.
I think we should all agree to disagree and accept that we are all made differently.
Now shut up the lot of you and go find me more bargains!;D

Really fuming with boots now - as well as my ps2 being cancelled it looks like my xbox has as well >:(:j :j0 -
I ordered at 16:30 on the 11th and didn’t choose any special delivery. Got automatic 10% discount + triple points + 2000 extra points for using discount code. Delivered yesterday by Royal Mail in awful packaging. Just glad it arrived.
Their web site still shows my order as being processed so doesn’t sound very realtime.
How does everyone who is still waiting and complaining know that it still isn’t going to be delivered. Some people seem to be convinced that no one is getting theirs, then they are saying that they have been told they are getting one after all, then back to the orders being cancelled. Are other posters just guessing or are Boots that inefficient?
