Perhaps a way forward is for you to approach the parent governor at the school and ask them to speak on this at the next governor meeting - or get involved in the running of the school and get a nomination for the parent representative on the governing body. In this way you will have an insight into the difficulties faced by schools in dealing with problems such as this.Bern :j0

I feel for you, I really do. When DD started school my biggest fear was that she'd be bullied, or be a bully. So far so good, although her tendency to speak her mind and not take any carp from anyone does worry me at times (no idea where she got that from
)
I don't believe in violence either, but always said that if someone hit her to hit them back, twice as hard. Keep going into school, write letters confirming the outcome of the visit, keep going into school etc.
DD's primary did a (to me) strange exercise, one day they gave all the kids in the class a post-it and told them to write something positive on it about the bully as apparently the bully had some confidence issues, so the Head said. DD couldn't understand why she'd been forced to lie. Ex-OH said this was a proven exercise for management trainees....11 year olds??!!
Oh, and the bully was manipulative rather than hands on, taking dds friends off her, lying abot her or getting other kids to have a go at dd. And dd said it was no point telling the playground supervisor as it was the bullys aunt. Thankfully this started up at the end of the academic year and they went to different secondary schools.0 -
Maybe you should tell the teacher that you intend to call a parent forum to address the situation if it's not sorted out and create a lobby group and that any damage to your child psychologically will be actionable and since they are aware of the situation that they will be liable for any damage.0
