I thought that also, but I don't see why I should have to resort to this. The fee should be good enough to do the job in the first place IMHO.
I think the fee is taking this into account. The best job I ever did for these people was in major London Toy store it paid 4x Grassroots fee in reimbursment. Of course the toys there are 2x the cost of those in the normal shop, so I did not hesitate in taking the staff back straight after submitting the report.

Thanks I will do that. I have not received the link.

    Cheers

HI HP - not wanting to teach you to suck eggs, so apologies if this is an obvious one, but have you checked your junk mail folder, in case it's gone into there?

Well today was offically my last day at work. I am now on maternity leave until June 2009 and am now a lady of leisure - as much as I can be with a 3½ year old and a baby on the way! Just did a bar job with hubby so that was a nice 30 minutes on our own. Hubby quite happy to have a free pint of lager! Hoping to do my Bare garage job tomorrow so fingers crossed it goes OK.

There are also a lot of pharmacy jobs left for my area - I've noticed they've changed the due dates - sorry but there are only so many prescriptions I can get - pregnant or not!!
  • Good for you Ellie, its a great feeling to think you have all that time isn't it! Hope your garage goes OK too :D

With regards to my earlier problem, I had a call from GFK and spoke to a lovely man who said it all sounded fine and he has put a note on for me but he said I will still probably get a call from the proofreaders! So I am off to do my reporting now :)

  • I have just logged on to GFK and there's loads of PPI jobs paying £30. One of them is a 5 minute walk away but reading the briefing notes I can't go for it as it's a personal loan application and says that it must be a single application only and you have to be able to pay £150 a month on top of all your bills including the mortgage. I only work 20 hours so my OH is the main breadwinner. I'm so annoyed, there's very little work out there that's in walking distance and £30 would've been great.

Me too. I now work as an Asda checkout colleague and my pay is £7,500 pa so I don't qualify either. I can hardly say my income is upped by being a MS'er although it would be amusing to say the least to see the look on their face.:rotfl:

Just a note of caution, as previous posters have said this will involve a footprint on your credit file which may hinder you if you actually need a loan or mortgage at a later date. The fee looks good but it needs to be better than that to tempt me.

 Has anyone done the audit for bare for electrical stores? I'm having problems with the quiz, as for two questions it won't accept any of the answers available as correct! Is this a temporary glitch does anyone know?

I have done the audit today, I now routinely do the quiz well in advance as they are renound for having daft questions.

I seem to remember one question saying which picture is correct, when in fact there was 2 pictures which were correct.

Also the non compliance question was confusing, i think one of the pics shows a tv that is turned off.

If you are still having problems Pm me with the specific questions and i will try and remember.

No it doesn't Amboy. It specifically states in the briefing notes your credit check footprint will be removed after the assignment is completed so your credit rating will be unaffected. This is new from the last wave of these visists as GfK had problems getting people to do these visits because of this so they have now addressed this issue.
