No it doesn't Amboy. It specifically states in the briefing notes your credit check footprint will be removed after the assignment is completed so your credit rating will be unaffected. This is new from the last wave of these visists as GfK had problems getting people to do these visits because of this so they have now addressed this issue.Oh in that case I hope plenty appearon my page
I would be VERY wary of what the MS company promises to do with regards to removing credit check footprints and cancelling DD etc.after you set up new bank accounts or memberships.
I have personally not had a problem (because I do not do these jobs) but there are several sorry tales on the MS forums about people having all kinds of problems as the MS company doesn't do what it says.
This is one area that can affect you long term so think carefully about what would happen should the worst scenario come about.0 -
Hi
I have signed up to retail eyes and have noticed there are a couple of jobs available but having not done this before would like some advice
one of the jobs is to go into a particular cheque cashing store and cash a cheque, the assignment fee is £15, now do you get refunded for the charge the store would charge me for cashing the cheque aswell as the assignment fee?, I also notice there are some other jobs that want you to go in and order meals etc, but what do you get refunded for?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

Thanks, that does make sense but on the assignment it says the spending limit is £6.25, I've looked on the stores website and they would charge me £14 to cash the cheque, so is this right then that I would only be able to claim back £6.25 putting me out of pocket by £7.75??Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Hi, long term lurker finally registered to post
Firstly i'd like to thank the original poster for listing all the MS companies
I've previously done some MS and know the drill, but am intrigued by the flights currently being offered by BARE.
Has anyone MSed a flight before and is it worth doing?0 -

Haha I rememberthe pain well little chicken! I did one of these at the start of the year and stupidly forgot I had to go to a class and did a 5 mile run in the morning. Couldn't walk the next day :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I'm doing the RE gym one too. I'm loving it, especially reporting on the smug gym instructors that stand around gossiping, snogging the receptionist who comes up to gossip with them (even I was like !!!!!!, get a room already!), and not helping anyone out. Just another few more visits for them. Woohoo. *** Is anyone with RETAIL MAXIM? Are you guys still getting visits? I am not getting any calls now apart from shops that are miles away that no one else is interested in. Ages ago, one of their allocators said just give us a call if you have time off from work and want to do more visits, which I have done, but they always say we will get back to you and never do! I'm getting quite miffed with them. Think I might stop shopping for them full stop! I used to love their visits, but month by month, I seem to be offered less and less! *** And what is with TNS? So many people go on about joining up, but their visits seem to be getting less and less too. I check about 10 times on a daily basis, and there is nothing ever on. Are they going down? *** Happy Shopping!0

OK - I'm offically a drip. I had three bar jobs on this week. Two had to be done between 5 and 8 so without thinking I ASSUMED the oother one had to be done between 5 and 8. Just had a lovely call from MS company to say actually you were supposed to go after 8!! Fair play the lady was lovely and she has re-booked me in for next week. Thankfully the pub is where I live so don't have to go far and the fee covers it. So hint to me - read the spec properly next time. Lesson learnt
Did my BARE garage jobs today. They went OK (I hope) so just waiting to hear back. Any ideas how long they take to get back to you? Got some good deals on the cars now if only I had a spare couple of thousand!!!!
Would have been very tempted by the flights if they were local but as their London they are no good to me (and can't fly at 8 months pregnant anyway!!!). Who recently went to Scotland - or was it Ireland for the day - I'm sure someone will remember!0
