I'm doing the RE gym one too. I'm loving it, especially reporting on the smug gym instructors that stand around gossiping, snogging the receptionist who comes up to gossip with them (even I was like !!!!!!, get a room already!), and not helping anyone out. Just another few more visits for them. Woohoo. *** Is anyone with RETAIL MAXIM? Are you guys still getting visits? I am not getting any calls now apart from shops that are miles away that no one else is interested in. Ages ago, one of their allocators said just give us a call if you have time off from work and want to do more visits, which I have done, but they always say we will get back to you and never do! I'm getting quite miffed with them. Think I might stop shopping for them full stop! I used to love their visits, but month by month, I seem to be offered less and less! *** And what is with TNS? So many people go on about joining up, but their visits seem to be getting less and less too. I check about 10 times on a daily basis, and there is nothing ever on. Are they going down? *** Happy Shopping!
Funny you should mention that. I had not heard from them either for ages and got a text from them on Monday and did the job today. A bit strange as it was the same shop and same scenario I did 2 months ago. Not that I am complaining.
I was interested to see you put as your No1 RE. They would be along with Gyp at the bottom of my poll rating. Maybe your just luckier than me and have hay fever and love lager.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Well, I've done my dreaded DIY visit. When I booked it I didn't know what I was in for because I hadn't read the gazillions of comments later posted on here saying how many ridiculous tasks you have to do while in store and how obvious it might be that you are the mystery shopper. ( I distinctly remember Timmne's barbed comment about dropping the new kitchen idea 'like a stone' having strung the salesperson along!)
Well I would like to nominate these jobs (which are with a company usually praised on here, and obviously I'll mention no names) as ones to drop like a stone. I will NEVER do another. What a pathetic fee for two phone calls and all those instore tasks. I hate being taken for a mug:mad:

Would have been very tempted by the flights if they were local but as their London they are no good to me (and can't fly at 8 months pregnant anyway!!!). Who recently went to Scotland - or was it Ireland for the day - I'm sure someone will remember![/quote]
Oh think that was moi. Did Glasgow to belfast took new mobie and took dozens of pics of my eyeball. I had the phone round the wrong way.:rotfl:
I am doing Cardiff next Wednesday. Any of you live there who can advise me how far it is to the centre and anything good to see and most important where to get good grub.!!!Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I love Cardiff, Hollypear, and like Mermaid Quay where there are loads of eating establishments and a really nice feel. Have you managed to tie the visit in with more MSing at the other end? Or is it more like a day trip? I ask because I don't think you get paid for the flights do you?Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

That was it - the eye ball story made me laugh. I work - sorry worked!! in Cardiff and there are plenty of places to eat. If your flying in though the airport is nowhere near the centre of Cardiff and you'll have to taxi it in.
The Bay is nice with plenty of good restaurants but Cardiff centre has all the shops. PM me if you want and I'll give you the lowdown.0 -
I log on to RE quite a lot. Sometimes you get some proper fancy ones, like family restaurants with £50 reimbursement and posh gyms too. Guess you have to log on a lot to get them when they are available.0

Thanks for the tips Sinders. In fact I do get paid for this flight. A really good fee. I haven't really looked yet at tying it in with MS'ing as I don't know my way around Cardiff and can't take my car on the aeroplane.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0 -

There's one of those listed round here too, it's about 5 minutes drive away, if that, but it's still not worth the time and effort that would be needed for a paltry fee.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -

I think they need to double the fee for the drawn-out nature of this task, apocryphal. Admittedly, it cost me to get to mine, but even if it hadn't...
I nominated this job as not worthwhile in response to Hollypears earlier post about what the ms allocator said- what do you think?Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

SNAP!!! I did the dreaded job today. 50 mins plus driving time plus report writing......NEVER AGAIN!
That's not the worst part. I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities) and as soon as I was in the area looking for the products the various smells started making my asthma worse
So now I feel like crap and feel like someone's taken a hammer to my head plus am off on weekend break in a couple days that I was so looking forward to and I can't even be bothered to even think about packing. I am NOT best pleased :mad:16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120
