Morning all (again) - I'm going to post the fifth part of this thread later; it's almost 2000 posts and 1000 is the recommended max as large threads slow the board down.
Before I do, does anyone have any additions to make to the OP? Someone PM'd me a while back with a new company but I deleted it accidentally and now don't have the name to reply to them!0 -
I agree Mimi but I am quite new and there's very few jobs available for me to take in my area thats why I took the diy one, I won't be doing it again. On RE there has only been Pharmacy jobs for the last few weeks and nothing at all on GFK that why I did the TNS one.0
-
I'm doing the silly TNS DIY shop today and see I have to return an item BUT keep the receipt to send off. Now normally they keep the receipt when you get a refund so how do I get to keep it. I thought I might buy 2 items and return only one, what does anyone think?
I'd pay by card and then sometimes it's on the same part of the receipt, in which case they just cross out the item and let you have it back? Might be worth a try.0 -

Hey Pammy jump on a train to Glasgow then. There are around 30 - 40 ( too many to count) pharmacy jobs. One is 2 streets away from me. Despite the phone call I got from them I ain;t doing them. That is at least 4 weeks they have been there so it must be obvious we are not doing them and I told them exactly why. Low fee, unneccessary purchase of hay fever tabs to sit in a cupboard, and a mega report plus a pic of the pharmacy. Now I know some companies don't seem to trust us we actually do the visit. But to note right and left, take a pic, purchase tablets and scan a receipt in is a bit overkill IMHO.
Out of curiousity I keep watching the jobs get the date continually extended. Any of you who are nosy type in Glasgow to the search box.
And Timmne getting a bit near the nuptials now. Want any help with the speech. I could contribute a few jokes for you.
Like you could mention thanks to all for attending despite rising petrol costs. But if you drive like you did with your window open and a bee came into the car, buzzed around and said it would fill your tank. Hey presto tank is full. When you say " Hey how did you do that"

*** I don't think STAMPS went on in all areas. I was on when they went on, and there was nothing on in my local areas. I have a feeling more will be added on this week. They tend to put 2 batches of about 500 on. *** Have a funny feeling PETROL will be going on sometime this week too. They have some information put on in the JOB SEARCH noticeboard thing. ***
Some more stamps went on last night, about 200. That was my thinking on the petrol ones too - hope you're right and don't forget to post it on the MS alert thread when you see anything - that's how I found out about the extra stamp ones.0 -

There are about 50 on my 2 areas that come up, but all require prescription as well as having to buy hayfever tabs. That really is a bit much - even if you did the hayfever scenario and didn't have to buy anything but the prescription, at least you'd still have a receipt.
I agree, def taking the pee!0 -

That's brilliant!
I actually haven't done anything on the speech yet; it's 17 days to go and I'm a little short of ideas!
Being the groom I'm hoping to avoid any kind of lengthy speech as the FIL will do quite a piece and my brother (best man) is preparing a work of literary art too.... I'll just stand up, burp and thank everyone for coming or something0 -

What I did was nip to the car to take a picture of the receipt. Note the receipt number down as that is the one you have to put in the questionnaire and then take it back. They then give you another refund receipt which is the one I kept and they were happy enough with this. What I did was go back on my mobile phone as if I were talking to my husband saying "what do you mean you've already bought it. OK if your sure I'll return it". Worked both times and no-one said anything!!0 -
Wow - I'm amazed - just read through my e-mail and got a reply from Bare saying my report was "perfect" and got a shop grade of 10 - didn't do this well at school lol What's with the grading system? Do you getter jobs the higher your grade?0
