can any one remind me how to set a date with Bai? Picked up a job the other day but I didn't select a date and now I have forgot how to do it.

Just go into view/submit as if you were entering the report and fill the date box in and just save. HTH :)

And a belated birthday to Becles! Glad you had a nice day.

And good for you Hollypear! Bout time someone told 'em like it is ;)

I know like most newbies I've taken on jobs that wild horses wouldn't make me do again no matter if they did pay a decent fee

just wanted to ckeck something re: mileage ... if i dont have a car and use public transport and use bus ~~(all day ticket for £3.20) then if a particular job says 20p/mile mileage paid....can i claim £3.20 or more....do mystery shopping co's need any petrol recipts etc etc...

i have been claiming full mileage for TNS jobs even though i dont have/use a car....

Mileage is for mileage - you can't claim it if you don't actually use a car.... So in your case it'd be the cost of the ticket.

For TNS, claiming maximum mileage is purely to maximise your income, whether you use a car or not!

As I said above, claiming mileage income from a MSing company has nothing to do with having a car, it's just you getting the most out of them (i.e. not illegal, just a little dishonest ;)).

It's the amount you take off your profits that you need to concern yourself with. If you take a mileage figure from your profits, this isn't allowed unless you actually do the mileage.

Can anyone recommend an MS company that tends to have UK hotels? I am contemplating a one night stay and wondered if any of the companies I am registered with tend to do hotels? I know you don't know who I'm registered with!!!! But I don't want to list them on here anyway! Since it would be a different part of the country to where I live, it means doing a lot of searching different regions - if I could narrow it down to just a couple of MS companies that would be a help. Do any of them do hotel stays? I've tried RE as someone earlier said there were hotel jobs on RE, but evidently not in the area I'm thinking of.

TNS do them but the chances are pretty slim of finding one where you want!

Thanks - haven't quite completed the TNS registration yet anyway. Been a bit busy but I should have sent the form off to them a few days ago. Oops!
