Great post HP, I bought Stella and it was more than the reimbursement and I don't even drink it!! And the pharmacy one is a joke I've now got a pack of tablets stuck in my drawer that I prob won't use which again cost more than the reimbursement.“A banker is the fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.” Mark Twain0

Ha! No got it - not sure if I should thank you for it though
Hey Timmne if you get bored on honeymoon you can always amuse Mrs Timmne with it. BTW Remember the company you mentioned a while back MCE. I joined them, got accepted immediately and got 5 jobs straight away. Whoopie doo. And more interesting than pharmacies. One is a bed shop. Now there's a thought. You and Mrs Timmne to be could have MS'ed it for your honeymoon. You know a sort of John and Yoko Lennon. You could have made a fortune, interviews on Sky News, pics in Hello magazine.
A bit like my godson when he was 3. His mum was looking round a furniture shop where the bathroom displays were at street windo level. He vanished and she and the staff hunted everywhere. There he was on the loo!!! With a whole street of Glaswegians doubled up on the pavement. It was hilarious but his mum was mortified and couldn't get out the shop quick enough.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Thanks everyone who replied. Your comments are spot on.The allocator I spoke to said they got frustrated at people accepting these jobs as if we all refused them they would go to another company.
Can anyone come up with a logical reason why you have to buy this brand of lager. Why, why why. At least when you bought wine you could use it and the receipt proved you were there.
And I can tell you as a trained nurse people often go to pharmacies, ask for a recommendation and if they are more than a prescription cost say no thanks I will go to my GP and get a prescription. So what is the reason for making you buy the tablets anyway. Surely they are testing how well the pharmacist does at giving advice and a recommendation. So long as you mention the recommendation in your report why do you have to purchase the tablet. Particularly if you don't have hay fever.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I havent done a job for Gap in ages but just recieved an email warning me about the perils of using an analogue timing device for their evaluations.
Did anyone else get one of these? I'm presuming it was a generic email -either that or they're gearing up to sack me too ...
I got one of these emails this morning as well so I think that it is genericcross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

Totally agree HP. Recently saw a sports shop which I fancied doing on one of the main sites, and it gave a reasonable reimbursement, but a derisory fee for the time and effort involved. The due date came and went, and was extended, then I got an e-mail (generic of course) asking whether I was interested. I responded to it to the effect that the fee wouldn't pay the petrol there, never mind there and back (5 miles away from me!).
We need to keep rejecting these jobs with piddly fees.43580 -
I am doing a visit in 2 days time for TNS and as I have not done one for them for ages I have forgotten how to work the site. I got the briefing notes under searching my visits and highlighting it but how do I get the questionnaire to complete.
Incidentally re my earlier post about chatting to an allocator...he gave me a visit which only involved me sending 1 text message ( cost me nothing as I am a contract mobie) and recording when I got a reply and date they sent a brochure. That was it. 2 minutes if that to enter the results and the fee was £7. Cost me no petrol or purchases of things I don't need.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

They should have sent you an email with a link & password to view the briefing notes & questionnaire, and then to enter the report. Have a look in your inbox and contact your area manager if it's not there
Thanks I will do that. I have not received the link.
