Just had a phone call from Gap wanting me to do a coffee job this week. Not a problem, I'll be in town on Thursday and I negotiated a nice premium too

But, the guy from Gap said that they (the coffee company) had requested I do the job again, as I've done it before and gave them a good report! Is that daft, or is that daft?????

November will be a scary time for me then, I've taken on some rubbish ones already! I need to be more choosy.
I think that is one of the major learning curves about this job. Some shops area a waste of valuable time. Sometimes you see an average wage shop and you get tempted to book more than one, and you either pay the price in the amount of questions you have to ask in store or the number of hours it takes to do the report. It is ok if you are bored and have nothing better to do but not ok when you miss proper work while you are out there slaving!
Just take the DIY store, they must be kidding with the amount of questions and information you have to collect, by the time you are finished you are well and truly sussed out!
On the other hand there is the Bare garage which a lots of people have complained about. I did one circuit in half a day 11 shops with 3.75 times Gap fee each, reports took half a day for all 11 of them not bad in the end.

Good for her! Last thing you want on your honeymoon is a hubby gawping at the chest of the check-in staff trying to clock their name and spending most of the time loitering and scribbling in their iPhone! Not to mention going for a coffee in departures without you because its an assignment for one!:rotfl:

Actually, I've often wondered at these airside jobs if you're about to go away for a week or two? Are you allowed to submit the report on your return? I can't imagine doing it on a BlackBerry, or having to pay to use an internet cafe whilst abroad - more hassle than it's worth, surely?

Just wondering what everyone else's 'record' is for most jobs completed in one day?

Just planning my route for tomorrow, a whopping 18 jobs, 139 miles and 5 hours of driving time :eek::eek:

You've obviously found better paid jobs than I have to make it worth your while driving 139 miles!!

    Hi all

Well I finally got assigned my first BARE garage job but it has to be done by next Monday! If anyone has done any of these please could you PM me to let me know what their like. Leila1 I've PM'd you! Never done a job for them before so have no idea what they are like. The questionnaire doesn't look that bad. Apparently I have to do a quiz but haven't found that yet!

Anyway tomorrow is my last day in work (hoorah). Have a month of for hols and then start maternity leave and a well earned rest - no MSing for me next month (unless its local or a phone call of course!!!) :j
