Morning....right, trying to be upbeat and happy today because I have let things get to me a bit too much over the weekend and keep bursting into tears.

I need to get my head around the things I need to get done this week - feeling a bit overwhelmed, even though really there's not that much.

    I need to:

    - [strike]Finish tidying the under-stairs cupboard (did half of it last night, but there's still a large pile of stuff on the sofa).[/strike] Done
    - Find a welder to mend the camper (it's a tiny job really, so I feel a bit silly ringing welders and asking them) Stu trying to do this today!
    - [strike]Make a contact lens appointment[/strike] Done
    - [STRIKE]Find the 'holiday book' (I painstakingly listed everything we needed to pack in a little book, but I've lost it :wall:)[/STRIKE] Still can't find - have given up :wall:
    - [STRIKE]If I can't find the holiday book, do a new list[/STRIKE] Done
    - Make a list of things we still need to buy/acquire for holiday and go and get them
    - [strike]Pay £2 coin collection into bank, as it's going to be our holiday spending money (there's only £60, but better than nothing, and it will only be needed to pay for swimming and ice creams :D)[/strike] Neatly dodged thanks to Sammy!
    - Clean house Part-done but not crossing off till finished
    - Mow lawns
    - Sort out childcare/working arrangements for next 3 weeks Almost sorted
    - Make doctors appointment for repeat prescription for Ryan

Might add more things to that list as I remember them.....urrrghhhh, it makes me feel tired just looking at it. :o

Snaggs - would it not be better to take the £2 coin collection with you. It might come in handy for the icecreams etc.

LOL - I have just done myself a similar list on the daily chat thread. I really need to stop procrastinating and get myself more organised.

Yes, it might be actually Sammy - and that would also save me a trip to the bank....lol! :T

Can't find a welder though. :( There's one in our town but their phone numbers aren't working, so either they've changed phone numbers and not updated anything on the internet, or more likely they're not there any more.

Any ideas anyone? Would a normal car garage be able to weld a camper?

Thanks El4l.....not sure why I have let things bother me, maybe it's hormones or something. Trying to be more cheery today, but I feel sort of sad and tearful - not really even sure why. :o

Natasha is sitting here cuddling me though, and Ryan is being really sweet, so I'll be fine. :A

    How're you doing El hun?

Hmmm, I was debating mowing the lawns, but a) I would have to go in the 'shed of doooooom' to get the mower out, and B) I'm working later, and mowing the lawns is a job for a day when I can lie down for a rest afterwards! (we have 2 awkward, uneven, sloping lawns, and one that's not too bad, so it's a really horrible job, but great for burning calories! :D)

  • Hi Snaggles hope you are getting through your list ok. I find when I am having a teary time of things thats its really is best to just do what you can and focus on just the important things. Rest when needed, eat properly (and a bit too much carp as well for me!) and lots of cuddles from kids.

If it's made out of steel then yes. Aluminium is a bit more specialist.
