Your camper van is lovely Snaggles:j I would love one of those ones that you drive about ala Max and Paddy style as OH wont tow a caravan but that looks like it would be really easy to tow. Is there any room for storage of other stuff in the trailer or do you have to take everything else in the car boot?
I want one *stamps foot*
I can just picture myself sipping vin rouge and nibbling on a nice piece of brie somewhere in Brittainy outside one of those:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
DD, we bought it second hand and it was £4200 *gulp* - the only reason we could ever afford that was because of Stu getting some redundancy money last year, and some inheritance from my lovely Gran (who would have LOVED the camper, as they were trailer tenters in their younger days, and proper tenters before that), and a bit of help from my Mum and Dad. It was almost brand new, despite being 4 years old, still had that 'new' smell inside, and was absolutely immaculate, so a complete bargain.
Bob, yes she loved that bed - they are really comfy though, the mattresses are better than the ones on our bed at home. And the list....er......it's underway....lol!
Hiya Bunny, missed you too
Louise - sorry about the job btw hun, hope you find something out soon. It's lovely to tow, you can barely feel it. We have only got a Focus 1.6 litre, and it tows it easily. And yes, you can fit everything inside - the only things we had to put in the boot were things like the football, swingball, oh and Natasha's pram. All the clothes, food and other random stuff fits in the camper itself. The wardrobe is small, only enough room for maybe 10 coathangers, so we just hung jeans in there, and folded everything else in those pop-up stacker crates under the sofa bit. And there's a couple of drawers for underwear etc. The awning and ground sheet also fit inside.
Oh yeah, and the Brittany image? That's EXACTLY why I bought it!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Might see you in Brittany next summer then Snaggles, we love it there. We have found a few excellent sites that have loads to do but dont take your eyes out.
The boys love it there too its just the ferries are getting really expensive:mad:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Yes, very expensive - we are going to cross Dover-Calais next year and stay north (Bien Assise?), but will venture Brittany way the following year I think. We love Raguenes Plage. If you've got some tips for nice sites, I'd love to hear them."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
