Has the Debt Freeness sunk in properly yet? I know it took about 2 months for me to accept that I didnt owe anything to anyone apart from the mortgage and the money we used to send in payments just sort of sat there for a while each month as though we didnt know what to do with it:rotfl:

It now goes to the mortgage overpayment pot of course:A

Well, the weather is a bit rubbish here at the moment, but the kids have wellies and raincoats, and they both seem to enjoy getting soaked and jumping in muddy puddles, so hopefully it will still be fun. Although I haven't given up all hope of coming back with a tan yet!

Natasha is currently rummaging through her changing box, throwing nappies and all sorts of other things across the living room floor - still want her?? :rotfl:

I think it's slowly sinking in - it's a much nicer experience logging on to our internet banking now, although I did have a slight panic this morning when I saw that our shopping account was overdrawn by £20. :eek:

I've managed to pinch a bit from the bills account to cover it, and it's payday tomorrow, but it was a timely reminder that I mustn't relax too much and lose track of things I think.

Looking forward to getting properly into the swing of MFW once I know how much mortgage we will end up with....eeek, scary prospect! :eek:

Our holiday was very VERY wet and I didn't bring enough warm clothes with us-it cost me £6.50 to do 1 load of washing! :eek:

I guess you can always do a load when one of you pops back home cant you though...

I bet you have a lovely, lovely time away, just the fact of camping will be really exciting for the kids, and as long as you don't *break* the extension again, it'll be fab for you too!
