  • Love the look of the trailer tent I want one! No good for 3 growing kids though. Glad you had a great break. I find instead of paying £700-1000k for a week I pay £280-400 for a pitch. These are ones with enterainment and pools for the kids I am sure you can do cheaper. I have also used Tesco vouchers for Haven as well. £400 pitch for £100 vouchers.

It's a 6 berth KP, you could probably squeeze them all in! :rotfl:

Great idea about the Tesco vouchers - I am saving them with the vague idea of using them for a chunnel crossing to France, but if we decide not to go next year, I might use them for Haven instead.

    I know - I'm not really a proper camper am I?? :rotfl:
To be honest Snags I am not sure why anyone would want to do the 'real' version! Your camper looks so civilised and nice and homely. We always went camping as a kid and I remember them as brilliant holidays, I am sure I had a better time than my beach-resort-staying peers. I bet my mum would've given her right arm to have a cooker though! I reckon we ate our own weight in fish and chips on holidays :D

Oh and Ryan has a lovely halo-like glow in one of your pics, what an angel :A

Snaggs, the piccys are fab, You've made me want a camper even more now
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • Me too Spud, and OH also loved camping as a kid - how much was it Snaggles?

    You trendsetter, you.

Just think - OH can take Elliot off and do boy's things - fishing, building things, finding wood, etc etc - while I lounge around drinking wine and getting a tan.
  • Aww snaggs lovely pics, you sound like you have had a fantastic time. Really love seeing natasha puching her buggy around ~ too cute. I love camping but would rather a tent :D

We've got a big 8 berth tent, that we bought about 5 years ago, but have only used for 1 night. We're going to give that another try. Had planned to go bank holiday weekend, but circumstances got in the way

  • Oooh a six berth didnt think you could get them. Now I really want. I do like the tent but the though of a better cokker and easier set up sounds great. I dont class myself as a proper camper either!

  • I now officially have camper van envy...piccies are great and you all seem to have had a fab time. Natasha really seems to have liked her bed. Good luck with the list!
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
