I heard about that Zed, what a bizarre name!

Where I used to work, they had team names, and we had two team leaders, called Talia and Jenny.

Our team was called Jenny~Talia, obviously! :rotfl:

But others were allowed, including Number 16 Bus Shelter, Midnight Chardonnay, "and tragically, Violence," the judge said.

Well if Chastity is a name, why not Slattern?

    Oi.....have YOU seen my sharesave???

    It's gone missing!

The shares should be in my sharedealing account as of this morning, but they're not there.

I think I know what might have happened - about 2 months ago I had a letter saying 'your sharesave will not mature as planned because your payments are in arrears'. I could see that the payments were being deducted from my salary, so I rang them and they said they hadn't received any payments since I went back from maternity leave.

I rang payroll, and they looked into it, 'found' the money (it was being paid into a suspense account for some unknown reason), transferred it to the right place and then told me 'it's all sorted, your sharesave will mature on time now'.

I'm guessing it wasn't as 'sorted' as they said... :wall:

Better do some ringing round I think, but if the shares have a really good day today, and I could have sold them and been debt free, I will be mightily unimpressed.

I got an email about a bizarre naming fad in New Zealand. One girl had been called 'Number 19 Bus Stop' but a judge wouldnt allow they wouldnt allow 'Talula does the Hula from Hawaii'. Here are some others that the judge allowed: Violence and Midnight Chardonnay. But they had not allowed Sex Fruit, Keenan Got Lucy and Yeah Detroit. How bizarre. And to think I was considering moving to NZ.
