OMG I just saw a really dramatic arrest!

The kids were playing on a blanket on the front lawn, and I was weeding, and suddenly I heard some male voices shouting 'STOP you bleeping bleeper'. I looked up and there was a youngish lad/bloke running down the pavement towards my house, followed by 2 policemen. They caught up with him just opposite the far corner of my garden. They tackled him to the floor, and he was screaming and shouting at them in very colourful language. Then a police car flew round the corner and skidded to a halt, closely followed by a policeman on a bike, and then 2 police vans!

He was trying to fight them off, but they eventually got him in one of the vans and locked it, but I could still hear him yelling and kicking (I assume) the side of the van.

I do so like a little bit of local colour....

And who said Leeds is rough :p

Crumbs. That sounds dramatic. Hope the kids took it in their stride. A good lesson in that the law always catches up with you I guess.

Helloooo, I haven't disappeared - just very busy weekend! Off to a christening in half an hour, where Stu is being a godfather. :)

Oh, and the bloody camper has broken - one of the supports has become detatched from it's metal plate, so I'm guessing it will need welding back on - goodness knows how much that will cost! Think the gods are conspiring against me being debt free! :rotfl:

Bunny, I have nooo idea what you're on about but it made me giggle! :D
