Snaggles you really are lovely! Let her see Ryans new "passport" that will help her understand the condition better than any text books! Fate definately seems to have been involved!

Snaggles, that is so nice you are able to help this lady. A lady at the dyslexic institute (where my children go for extra help) has proved a really valuable ally in the battle I have ongoing with County Hall.
With regards to the second car issue, could you perhaps go down the scooter route? Also I think if you regularly book a taxi they sometimes do a discount for the regular booking. HTH

Thanks - yes it would be lovely if we do get on well and can help each other through it. I think it will be good for both of us. If you lined all the Mums up at school though and said 'who is the person you are least likely to ever be friends with', a week ago I would honestly have picked her, not because I didn't like her (didn't really know her), but because she seemed to dislike me...lol! Funny how things work out.
IDA, good idea about the passport - I will take one into school with me this afternoon - hs teachers have requested copies of it too so I need to get some printed off. I have altered it slightly to add in a couple of other little points, and I'm really pleased with it now. My Mum and Dad took copies with them too. Ryan seems really relieved that he wont have to try and explain what Aspergers Syndrome is any more. :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Lucielle, thanks - a regular booking might be a really good option - they are much less likely to let me down if it's a guaranteed fare on a weekday evening for them when they're generally pretty quiet. :T
Stu used to have a scooter, but it got stolen - I was secretly quite glad because he has a bit of a history of falling off anything on two wheels! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I used to find my son asleep in all sorts of funny places. Best one was leaning on the settee with his feet on the floor IYSWIM. Daughter fell asleep on top of her rabbit hutch.
