Just in case anyone missed it, there is an interesting thread by our regular contributor borntobefree. For some reason, she deleted the original post but luckily I had quoted a copy in my response:

I'm not really sure what we're to make of her thread really. Any ideas?Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

just read thro most of this--know that I shouldn't, have more important things to do, like have a life, but I couldn't stop myself. Its like biting your nails or going out with that lad your mum said is no good. You know its bad for you but just can't stop yourself. Really, DD got everyone really worked up didn't he?? FWIW and IMO being rude in response is childish

LJ--having just read thro this I think that you are right, and a lot of people did see you in this way. I know that I did. But, as you keep pointing out, you are only 23, so a lot of time to get into good habits. Good luck with that, and keep practicing

DD has obviously nothing better to do than trawl through my old posts - they must have made very interesting reading *yawn*. Since he seems to have been posting solidly on this thread since Sunday (plus has the time to trawl my threads:rolleyes:) I have to assume he hasn't got a job or he very soon won't have one.......really boring now0

9 pages on my browser, rather than 20?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Actually, I think you need to make sure of your facts before you post this and the message that's just appeared on the OP of your thread. The person who resurrected your thread is:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11992401&postcount=20
I didn't even know it was an old one when I first posted on it (I was post #23, the resurrection post was #20). I suggest that you shouldn't create threads to boast about your house wealth if you're embarrased by the response.

Same here - I have a vague memory of there being somewhere in userCP where you could change the amount of posts shown per page, so I must have done that at some point0 -
Out of interest, Borntobefree, are you the new name for PPR'd MUSTBEFUNNY, as DDad claims you to be?0

I don't even have a vague memory of doing that (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
