Why are some people on here being so nasty?

There you go again, coming out with your "I'm better than you" self-importance.
The problem is that you're so wrapped up in it that you just can't see it. The only slightly forgiving factor is that you're still a kid and still have a lot to learn about life (clearly).

Not really, it just annoys me that people don't like others doing well for themselves. I would get applause if I had been on drugs and unemployed since I left school, but not for getting off my bum to do something with my life.
It is very odd, as friends of mine from school who have become doctors, lawyers, etc, one has her own hairdressing business, I think it's amazing and really admire them for going out and getting what they want from life. I would in no way think they should not have a good lifestyle to make others feel better.
I don't think I am important, I just know to value everything I have in life as it can be taken away from you at any minute. I don't sit around crying because I missed the property boom due to my age and whinging that houses are unaffordable. I enjoy every minute of my life and I am sorry if that makes other people unhappy, but that is what life should be like.
When I was in Africa I noticed that most people had nothing but that life is what you make it, and they certainly made the most of theirs. People here need to take a bit of that on board and start enjoying themselves rather than moping in self pity or slating others for having fun/good quality of life.
If you like your life too then great, and I am really pleased you do, as it is a sorry state when you get to 90 and realised you have done none of the things you wanted to. It just comes across in your post that you are almost annoyed by the fact I like mine.0 -

DD responds: "Really, why is that".

Posh's closing gambit "Your F*£$£ing wife is a F$%&% you c^&%. You piece of sh£%£. I hate you, you C^%%
Posh's thoughts: "Ha! I showed him, I totally won that argument!
Everyone else's thoughts: "Jeeze that posh sure has a foul mouth, DD creamed her on that argument, did you see how she totally lost control?"

PM to DD from Posh: "Hi DD, you really got me excited during our little discussions, here is my phone number....
There we go, I've just saved us a lot of argie bargie and time!

p.s. borntobefree AKA MUSTBEFUNNY, do be careful about stalking me around the MSE forums. Remember what happened last time?
The MSE tech guys said that they had your IP address and so if you turned up under a different guise, I could report you again and your IP would be permanently blocked. I'll let it slide this time...Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Nothing wrong with that but it tends to get somewhat tedious listening to said person ramming their life achievements down everyone's throats at every possible opportunity. Hint, hint.
If you want back-patting, go to the DFW board please.
