My one's a freebie too, going a week on Monday, the 30th. Tried calling Camber for an upgrade a week or 2 back and got told they wouldnt upgrade cos it was a comp freebie. I said I wanted to pay for an upgrade, but they wouldnt have any of it.......??
Called again, got a lovely bloke (keith) who booked it for us no problem. We decided Club (so that we don't have to bring the whole house and next doors too) That will be the O.HALF's words!!!
Got a stupid £250 odd quid quote first, then he came back with £120. We get everything at least with Club! Which aint bad for a week away! And we just confirmed our trip to France for free too!! Cant be bad.
See you all there.......We will be the mad family with the cutest little girl ever with us......I'm Bias of course!!!

Camber Sands is fab for kids - you will love it. Just a word of caution if your mum has had a hip replacement, camber is all sand dunes and she will find it really difficult to climb them. Either head for the beaches with groynes (they are further up and easier to climb or inbetween the car parks there is a fairly level bit otherwise they are really difficult (my mum has had a hip replacement and can only get onto the beach via this bit).
Also, as I learnt from experience Camber gets really busy during the holidays and weekends and as the sea goes out for what seems like miles, keep a really close eye on the kids they can very easily get lost. Dont mean to put you off, once on the beach it is really beautiful, get the kids collecting shells from the shoreline there are thousands, the kids used to collect them and then stick them onto yoghurt pots when we got home. Have a great time - if you can drag yourself away from the beach try and spend some time in Rye, its a lovely town.MSE newbie and loving every minute :j0 -

I;m off to Hemsby on the 27th june freebie weekend then again on the 11th July for the £60 weekend break. My kids love Hemsby as it is a smaller site and they get to know all the staff. Everyone is friendly and he beach and amusements about a 5/10 minute walk. Anyone at Hemsby on those dates Ill see you there
Aw, lovely - we're at Hemsby that weekend (27th) - though not at Pontins, we've got a cabin on the dunes (the little road by the dolphin fish & chip shop!). It's our second Hemsby trip this year, and we've done a fair few trips over the last few years, it is lovely there. If you see a group of 4 couples in their late twenties / early 30s, and a pair of cute 3 year olds, come say helloWe're likely to be running after the 3 year old boy - if you hear 'Isaac!' shouted at a little curly blonde boy, that's definitely us! lol.
I hope everyone here has a lovely time!0 -
Two words. Brean and Fungi!
If you have any small children, like us. Please check all the corners of the room as you might find some free food (mushrooms) growing in the corner of your room that they might choose to eat accidently! We only stayed the one night.
(No they didn't actually eat it, but our 1 year old eats anything from the floor at the moment, so she could have)I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
