    You forgot a zero

£270K or around quarter of a million

Registered in Spain ........Hmmm.......someone had planned this well in advance

No one credit card company will be out of pocket too much, so they won't be pursued heavily

Might see this on 'The Hustle' soon

Lots of these cons are sprouting up now. Inevitably the success they have in getting away with it, will spread. May I suggest that in future events, unil this loophole is firmly shut..that people only use the organisers of the events to buy tickets.

Its a sheer lot of money to hand over and lose, by trusting ANY secondary ticket sellers. These louts rely on peoples frenzy to buy tickets, then dissappear "safely".

Im against touts (those who mass purchase tickets - to sell at inflated prices), I think any event should limit the sale of tickets for any event to lets say 3 per customer. When an event is sold out, that means the room is full...no more tickets, those who didnt get one in time, dont get one.

  • I feel so gutted for my 16 year old son who was conned by the SOS site too :(

When we reaslied about the scam yesterday we went along to Reading to try and get him a ticket on the door but they sold out before he got to the counter - I could cry for him as he worked hard for the money to buy the ticket and looked forward to the fesitval since buying the ticket in April

I want to report this to everyone I can; could someone let me know who the best people to contact are (I want to report it to the police but I'm not sure which department needs to be approached about something like this  ).

I'm so gutted for all of you who are in the same boat as us, let's hope we all manage to get a refund one way or the other.

    Kind regards
    A Very Miffed Mum
  • I too have been sitting here waiting like a fool for George Michael tickets to come through the post, that it seems will never come

I have a copy of the confirmation email saved as a jpg but not the original mail, can anyone please send me any details they have that my bank might need to trace these con artists.

    I am truely gutted !
  • I paid for two tickets for Stevie Wonder in Manchester 9 September 2008 for my sons's birthday. Money taken immediately from my credit card. Fortunately my credit card company are looking into this for me. Any ideas on what is going to be done about these rouge companies. Website is now advising account unpaid, report to account manager.

I have paid £147.00 to a spanish site.
  • HELP I bought two Stevie Wonder tickets a couple of months ago from this company, I read some reviews about them which at the time were good. I also rang them up direct and spoke to them twice just to make sure, I could also hear other poeple on phones in the background and it sounded busy...I really thought that I had done enough research...When I heard on sky news that they had gone bust and dissapeared I rang my creditcard company and told them what had happened and asked them, if I could claim the money back as I had used my card for payment...They said that eventhough I had fraudulent use Insurance and other insurances which I pay for..I WAS NOT covered because I had authorised the payment...is this correct?
  • I have bought two tickets via this site. Few days after I've noticed my credic card was overcharged by them nearly £100. I've requested a new credit card, so they cant charge me any more. Rang to them and said I was overcharged. They asked me to sent ( fax ), a copy of my credit card statement, which I did, 5 day later I did not heard anything from them despite sending few e mails. I've try to contact them over the phone in the afternoon and few times a person over the phone was pretending to be answer machine (sic!) saying that lines are open between 9am -3pm! After several times finaly some one took the call. They are very rude, and for me it's seems like they are chavs, without any manner and respect for others.
Overall, I'm trying to get my money back at first. I've contacted my bank about refunding my money. I let know consumer direct (they said they going to look closer at this company).
If anyone have similiar experience please let me know. I'm more interested is it possible to get all the money back. Consumer direct said to me that if credit card transaction was over £100, my bank might be eligible for that transaction ( credit act 974 sect. 75)
Do not trust them/ do not use their services, they will steal your money and probably you will not see the tickets as well.

Latelely I get from my bank refund - the noney I was overcharged. Still going to get all The money back , as I don't expect to receive tickets for Stevie Wonder concert in Manchester.
