Gas was 238 kWh (49 kg CO2) and electricity was 25 kWh (13 kg C02). Total 62 kg CO2 for this week.

Ranking for last weeks is 44 out of 50 and a big fat E for all houses and low rise flats. There was a brief warm spell yesterday so the heating was off all day.

I have just combined last years and this years spreadsheet to find out the cumulative consumption, emissions and cost for one year just to add a bit of geekiness to the task. I've done a projection based on last years and it suggests I won't reduce consumption any further.

I forgot to post in December my last bill from Sept to Dec, 14 weeks, was £31 electricity and £19 of gas inc vat. The next one will be a little different but necessary given the temperatures we've had.

We got a C and a D for last week, we had used more gas that week than any other. Hope the weather doesn't go really cold again!

Two 'C' for both badges last week.

'B' side for both, and sooooo close to a 'B' against similar properties I'm annoyed that elder DS turned the heating up (from 17 to 22!) on the Tuesday morning..... would possibly have scraped a 'B' without that :rolleyes2

Both gas and electricity are down on last week :T All of 1kWh on the electricity, but a whopping 137kWh on the gas which equates to 27% reduction on the previous week :) Gas is back to where it was exactly 4 weeks ago, and the only difference is I put the heating back onto timer instead of constant on Sunday evening.

It's warmed up quite a bit here in London. Has anyone started line drying yet?

    not me.....

I'd sink in the grass trying to get to my rotary line, and (other than the weekends) I'm not around for long enough during the day to get a load totally dry....... so I'm sticking to my internal airers for now, as it means I only have to peg everything up once instead of twice ;)

  • No line drying yet it has been cloudy for days and missed the opportunity on Monday. Just checked the forecast and outdoors and looks worth the chance.

  • 23 kWh elec and 158 kWh gas. The gas is about half of what I used two weeks ago. Should be on a C and D next week.
