OS Daily Tuesday 17th June

Morning everyone :wave:
it`s a bit cool here weatherwise but so far so good, just hope it dosen`t throw it down as i have lots of washing to do this week.
I emptied the bm and put on the wm and dw before i left this morning and DH is in the middle of emptying the dw so i have the washing to hopefully hang out later.
I managed to get an early night last night so i`m full of beans this morning, i was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and it`s done me the world of good. Tea tonight will be an enormous salad so i`ll be looking for something to go with it from the freezer when i get in later.

EDIT Loadsa peeps snuck in whilst i was typing, glad you feel better Kathy, i was looking at the remoska thread too.
Did anyone have one of the sunbeam multicookers? they remind me of that but with the element above. I`m looking for more info on baking bread in the remoska.

Morning all

It's glorious and breezy here this morning. Went out for another run this morning, thought I would try every morning (apart from the weekend) as I'm hoping it will help me loose weight and sort my head out! Have loads of washing to hang out in a minute. I think my tablets might be kicking in as I've had two decent nights sleep when I've got off.

Plan today to go to the allotment, which has been really neglected, do some weeding and plant my peas and beetroot that are sitting in my greenhouse. Then it's studying. Hope to start writing at the end of next week.

dd(11) is walking around very slowly and pathetically - think she's angling for a sicky - no way - it's mufti day at w*rk and that's what passes for excitement around here.

Morning, We have a busy day ahead of us. New tennents signed the paper work last night for renting the house, as the Council are paying the deposit we had to drive to the offices y/day and wade through a pile of papers and sign in triplicate, took 2 hours as we were kept waiting. Time wasters.

We have to empty the house as they have their own furniture, they didn't tell us that until 7pm last night, that will take at least 4 trips, hopefully we can squeeze it into our garage. Will phone a second hand shop and see if they will make an offer so we can get rid of the stuff.

Went to collect material to make curtains for twin bedroom, it hadn't arrived.
Should have received it on Friday. wasted more time.

Hope to book flights for trip to DB1,s in Spain today. Tried phoning him lastnight but their line was down. Could really do with a break.

Have loads of veg to use up if we are off on Thurs. So will make a rattatooee
and have some salad. and use up the fruit for pud.

Morning all, not been on for a while, life kind of just caught up with me! What with moving next month and having to do 3 courses before I move so that I am qualified for my new job, I don't have time for much else!

Huge hugs to all those who are poorly, have poorly relatives or are generally suffering. Far too many to mention in one post so will endeavour to mention a few in each post from now on.

Have an expected day off today as DS not very well, my list includes:

Hang out washing
Clean out freezer that I emptied and defrosted in preparation for moving
Tidy the Garage
Sort out all my Army clothes that I don't need and hand back
Ironing (only a small pile)
Hoovering.

Sounds like I will need the day to complete all of this!

Take care all, off to sort out my washing machine, it isn't rinsing at the moment without a nudge!

Morning all tried to go to work ( I left home at 6 ) only to find that there is complete signal failur at Didcot and all of the train will not be running, so i can not get to work at all. Glad i had not payed for a ticket. Called work but what could they say.

So I have a day at home doing house work oh joy. Grant day on thursday so today i will meal plan for the next month and try to shop for £200. not sure that I can do it but we are skint so I will have to. Will be looking at the cheep meal ideas on the site.
