Bumping this in case anyone else is interested.

I like doing surveys and have been with Pinecone for a long time, I have just received an email asking if I know of any households that would like to join, (they pay £4.00 for each survey) I have to forward the email to the interested person's email account as there is a referal link. I don't get anything for refering and it doesn't say how many can be refered. If anyone is interested please pm me with your email address and I will forward it to you, for you to read. They pay into a Paypal account now where it used to be a book of luncheon vouchers.
PS I know there are 2 r's in referred/ing but was too lazy to go back over.

ALSO PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT I AM TRYING TO MAKE ANYTHING FROM YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE. XX

yep im interested so ive pm's my email addy to you :D

    Hi all

I am after a bit of advise. We bought a computer a couple of years ago on finance through First National and the last DD payment is today. I have just called to advise them that the DD has been cancelled as all paid up and they have advised that there is still £90 outstanding in late payment charges  .

These have been occured because I cancelled the DD by accident and only realised once they sent a letter.

Should I add this to the DMP or fight back to get these removed ? TBH they have been a horrible company to deal with so I am in no rush to pay them back.

  • Hi,

I should have done this last month but have had lots of other things on.

I need urgently to open a Basic Bank Account. I went to Nationwide today and picked up their form, to get home to see they do a credit check with an agency......is this still standard practice with a Basic Bank Account, really needed to open an account with them.

They may just do a basic identity check. They have to do a small number of checks for money laundering purposes. If you are unsure give them a ring and see what they say.

Even if they do a credit check, it may not be too bad since you are not going to be borrowing any money from them.

Is your credit file already in trouble? If you are only just getting to the point of being in financial crisis, the info may not yet bee too bad.

Don't panic. Others on here may be able to suggest the best place to find an account.
