I have a couple of questions. I have started on a DMP (1st Oct) myself with the help of the CCCS. I have recieved all the paperwork from them and sent them off to my creditors with a pro rota payment attached. They are MBNA, Citi egg and halifax. all credit cards. I have had a letter from MBNA who have asked me to ring them, so I did and they will not look at my account until they have my OH's income. I have spoken to CCCS about this and they have said stick to your guns and you don't have to give them that info. I rang MBNA again and I explained this to them. They are still not listening to me that I do not want to include my OH's income on the form. Can anyone suggest what I can do next. I have also recieved a letter from the Halifax saying to ring them as well. Will this happen with the Halifax as I don't really want to ring them I would rather write to them. could anyone point me in the right direction of what kind of letter I can send them.
Cheers

Hi,
I've got a loan and overdraft with Natwest and made my 1st payment to CCCS on 1st June. I haven't heard a thing of Natwest, not a sausage, no letters or phone calls. I called them to get balances (as I was online only and they blocked my access) and the balances weren't as high as I was expecting. They don't seem to be charging the extortionate charges they were. In fact my overall balance with them, has now gone down by £132.82. I know, it's very wierd as I was expecting them to be awful. I'm sure it won't last.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
Hey Rayday how did OFSTED go? I too know the fear......
Thank you and to Maz too.
OFSTED went fine but I am not impressed with the inspector he did not seem bothered not that he would have found stuff if he had. But its insulting that he did not seem to care. He came in his words having read the paper work assuming we would be in special measures or notice to improve. Which seems unprofessional not coming with a neutral opinion. Anyway he had to change his mind and we are satisfactory with a few goods which is all we can expect as the setting of the school is in a "poor" area so not a school able to get the results for leaguetables if you get me.
Family (maz) are doing well so nice to spend every evening with them worth the financial risk even if it is pretty scarey! I am so much more at peace and tired through work but not drained and I never realised there was a difference between the two.
I was a bit worried when I came back to the board and people are talking about companies securing debt on the houses etc but then I thought why worry it won't change what they do and even if they do secure debt they can't take my house off me and house values are falling so its a pointless exercise!
Either that or I am being far too casual about it!0 -
Rayday,
Nice to hear things are settling again for you.
I know exactly what you mean about the house. This time last year we probably had about £40-45K equity and I was worried about being forced to sell. Now we would only have about £15k. It's the same house, we're still happy living here, but it's no longer worth our creditors going after it.
Ever cloud has a silver lining.
Love,
Sam,

thankyou!!!
so and so at the mo.....we were meant to have made our first payment of 679 pds on wed but unfortunately the bank withheld our funds. popped in yesterday to get 680 pds out for living expenses.
hubby thinks the money should go to cccs and he will get some money from his sister to tide us over till end of month. i am so totally not happy with that because its the completely wrong path to go down. flipping furious cos the whole point of this was to wake up and do things properly. him just going "oh its ok we can borrow from my sister" is the wrong thing and he certainly doesnt seem to understand that borrowing is what got us in this mess.:mad:0
