A year on, is no time at all, you must miss your dad so much still. I can understand how moving the ANZAC service would be for you, seeing your sons march and thinking of your dad must have been very emotional, all that pride and sadness at the same time.
I hardly like to mention it, but bunnies escape lots....you'll have to keep your eyes open when he's out the hutch! They do become very tame, but they are curious and eat anything...
Congratulations on your pending auntyhood!

Well the weather is really changing now. Definitely getting a bit nippy in the mornings. Bunny seems to be coping ok with it though, so phew about that. He does do lovely bunny hops where he almost flips all the way over. Very cute.
I have applied for a couple of jobs, but don't hold out much hope for them. ho hum. Just don't know how to crack into the market over here....

So we took bunny to have his celieasy (sp) virus vaccination last night. The boys were very good with him and had the cage in between them as we drove (slowly) to the vets. Bless. The vet was very good with DS1 and reminding him to look out for his bunny.
We had a heavy rainfall last night and poor bunny had a wet hutch this morning. Luckily we had put loads of hay in the sleeping part last night, so that he kept dry even though the paper was wet underneath. Have tried him on celery today. He likes the leaves but not the main bit.. Luckily I like celery so I guess I will be eating a fair bit of it :rotfl::rotfl:.
Sold a couple of items on auction site, but feeling a bit demotivated at the moment. No sales, no job interviews etc etc. So not sure what to do about it all. I have a course I am meant to be doing but I CBA to do that either. SIGH.I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Chev, just wanted to say that your bunny is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I used to have one as a child and I loved him so much, but it was still my mum who ended up doing most of the work with him once the novelty wore off
. They make great pets and I remember gathering dandelion leaves for him which were his absolute favourite. Not sure if there even are dandelions in NZ!
Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down. Are you still waiting to hear about the jobs you applied for, or were you unsucceful? Either way, keep trying, something will turn up xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Hi Happy, I didn't hear back from either of them, but have applied for another one, which is as an admin person for a firm, where I would even know a bit about what they do before I start! So I am really really hoping I at least get an interview for that one.
Bunny still continues to be cute, he even stretches out now on DS1 so that he is the full length of his thighs when he comes in for his bunny cuddles.
The only problem is that the back of the hutch isn't waterproof:( as I found out this morning. The water has seaped right through the board. Not sure what to do about it either, as you have to be careful what you coat bunny hutches with, as they are sensitive to fumes etc...
Managed to list 10 easy things on trademe yesterday. Won't net me much but at least it is done. And woop woop just checked one of them has sold already!
Just been reading the random acts of kindness thread. And you know what I think I need some of them doing to me. I do try to help out with people and things, but am getting tired of getting no thanks and no quid pro quo....
Right off to read a bit of text book to brush up on water pollution control in the hopes of sounding reasonably intelligent [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when I get an interview for this job...

Just been trying to remember how we waterproofed our rabbit hutches and I know that we stapled heavy-weight polythene to the outside of one of the hutches. I seem to recall that working well.
You deserve more than one random act of kindness! You help out on so many threads with advice. You helped me countless times!

Well I think I was actually one of these :A yesterday. Stopped a wee tot, stepping off the top of a 10ft drop by grabbing her. Scared the living carp out of her though so oops.
I am seriously confused. Bought 3 pairs of trousers for DS2 at 50% off. Well got them home and two pairs were so long he won't be wearing them when he is 10 let alone 8, so took them back to a different store today and they had some I could turn up if needed. Doing buy 2 get 40% off deal.
So I go up to the customer services, and she logs it all on the computer, tells me the trousers I wanted to swap for the returns, were cheaper:j. And that I could still have the 50% off so how would I like the $12.50 I had left over?! I was well confused. I am sure she diddled herself somewhere, but I couldn't get my head round it, so just asked for it on a gift card and wondered out rather bemused..!
