Job closed on Friday, it has been a bank holiday here. Is thursday too soon to think I haven't got an interview?

Just been reading the random acts of kindness thread. And you know what I think I need some of them doing to me. I do try to help out with people and things, but am getting tired of getting no thanks and no quid pro quo....

Hi, Chev. I think all the help you give to people on these boards is just building up in your karma account to bring you a massive reward soon. I'm sure anyone you've supported is grateful - I know I always am.

I do hope you get a job soon - there's one out there for you, that's for sure.

Yes, too soon. They have to sift through applications and short-list and contact ... and all sorts of things. And the decision-maker might have had the week off as holiday if it's a bank holiday week. Don't give up hope! Give it till Monday and then phone them.

Good luck with your job and well done on saving the little toddler. I love the idea of random acts of kindness-on the last night of our honeymoon a couple who we hardly knew but sat near in the restaurant of our hotel sent us over a bottle of champagne to cheer us up for it being our last night! Have never forgot it and must do the same for someone else now-although at the moment we don't really go to honeymoon locations anymore-unless you find caravan parks and campsites during the school hols really romantic!

Driving licence is a good point. Thanks. I always thought that hobbies and interests were a no no on cv's?

Just when you think you are going to have a normal day.....Took the boys to kids club so that I could go volunteering. Came back to get something having been for a walk, and go and check on the bunny. NO BUNNY. Looked under the hay, nope, under the little tunnel in the run nope. Oh heck I think. Look round the (small) garden, no bunny. So luckily there was a break in the weather, so off I went going through the undergrowth to try and find him. VERY LUCKILY I found him, a bit wet, in the next street. Was SO worried, as my DS1 would have been heart broken to come home and him not be there. The hutch had moved away from the end of the run, and he had squeezed out! So we are going to have to try and bunny proof the bit of garden he is on so that if he gets out of the run, he can't get out of the garden.......
