Oh lurvely! First season, it hasn't really found its pace, but once Angel comes on the scene - wow! I still remember the story of David Boreanaz's audition - the part was made bigger and bigger partly because of the reaction of the secretaries in the production company who all went weak-kneed at sight of him

Life is never smooth is it. Bearing in mind that OH has only been back from Mexico about 10 days, I am now jetting back to the UK as my dad is very sick (in hospital), I have booked to be back there for 2 weeks. He is apparently rallying a bit, but at his age you never know when the relapse might mean a funeral:eek: I know it is very practical. But if I came for a week and the flew back and then he passed away well that would be two lots of flights.....

I truely hope he pulls through, but it doesn't look too peachy at the moment. Just hope the hospital is a good one....

I'm so sorry to hear this about your dad, Chev - and isn't it horrible when you have to think about the finances in these terms I hope everything goes well, and you get to spend some time with your dad that *isn't* focussed on how ill he is...

hey guys thanks for the good vibes. Yes it is hard to think about money at a time like this. But have to be pragmatic about it.

Quality time with my dad, will be 'interesting'. Whilst my step mum and I are 'cordial' I am always a bit worried about her motivations in stressful situations. I don't know whether I am paranoid or whether she really does try to drive a wedge between me and my half siblings......

And then I have my mum to contend with, who seems to be getting more and more clingy.

God I am so !!!!!y tonight. Hope for a more postive post from the UK.
