Hey guys thanks for all the positive vibes. it really helped.

So i woke up at 05.15 to check the threat advisory and the radio. Luckily it all looked ok as it could be at that point, so I went back to sleep.

woke up at 7 because my DS1 has cricket on a saturday, so dragged myself out of bed. Could hardly stand though, as I have pulled both my thigh muscles carrying loads in a hurry down to the car last night. SIGH.

Have been absolutely shattered. This morning the boys were very good, and let me have a snooze once we were back from cricket. But the second time i tried, they pulled the curtains down:eek::eek::eek::mad:. I have managed to put them back up (the curtain rail clips into mounts on the wall and it is well fiddly), but I gave them a good ear bashing for it, and told them no electronics for the weekend.....SIGH.

So now I will just try and stay awake I think and potter....

Well we are still here obviously.

I have told the boys what has happened in japan. It didn't really sink in until I showed them a still photograph of the devastation in Myagi prefecture. They were pretty stunned.

Knees are marginnally better now. I couldn't do walking school bus yesterday or today. In fact yesterday I put myself on bed rest. Did me good as I was able to sort out the left leg, just the right one to go now!

Not much else going on. Tired. Missing my OH. Though sadly it is as much for the things he does around the house as for any other reason....

  • It is just so shocking and awful, every time i see the footage on TV, i feel like a useless bystander. Those poor souls. :(

I think the seminal image had to be the black tide coming in and marching through those polytunnels. They are all full-sized, higher than a man, and it just sailed on through.
