Does anyone know if the till tells the SA that an item is on offer? It seems like the SA should tell you to get another one, and I know I have had SAs tell me something was 3 for 2 or BOGOF -- I never knew if they just were aware of the sale, or if the till gave them a prompt that an item was on offer. I also have gotten just two of something and later found it was 3 for 2 after I got home. If they till tells them about an offer and they aren't telling us, that's just crap service.
Ok, I am not 100% sure, but recently I've started checking the tills to see which messages pop up and most of the times when an item is on offer it just says the name of the offer (like it shows on the receipt, for example **save** or **link-save**). For example with the Botanics offer it is 2 for £5, but it might just say **multi-buy** and they might not be paying attention to how many items you are getting. (In the case of the Botanics offer it is not a BOGOF, since the mask is £4.99)
Personally, I don't think we can expect all SA to know all the offers going on, so it is up to us to check our receipts. For instance today I got loads of stuff, including a hair dye which was reduced to £1.50, but because it was on clearance the box was damaged, it opened and I saw the dye applicator was broken so I just left the thing and asked the SA to cancel that. I thnik that by mistake she scanned another time the same dye, so I got on my receipt a
*** Save ***
Feriacb H/C 1.50, now 50p (there is a £1 off some dyes)
Feriacb H/C 0.15 now .00
I paid 0.50 for something I did not get.
But because I was having the points updated at the next till (reason: botanics 3 minute mask points) I was checking the receipt. Interestingly I had been charged for an hair dye, which I noticed because it was £2 in the receipt not 1.50. So I got that one refunded on the spot, but never noticed the £0.50 for the item I left behind. So we should always check the receipt as soon as we leave the tills and correct any problems there. If there is a missed offer, you can just go back and ask to use the offer.
Come on ladies, it is a bit paradoxical that we should want the SAs to be attentive to the missed offers, but overlook our (ab)usage of vouchers  So, check your receipts before leaving the store!! I do that whenever I shop.
PS: The other day I was not charged for an item at bhs, about £12. I was getting so much stuff, that it felt nice. As I got home and checked, I had been chraged twice for the same bra, an extra £5. On that occasion I was glad I did not notice the extra bra!! :T0 -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SALLY06XX

So, I guess you're glad the offers weren't for you!! :rotfl:
With 29, I think you've won the prize for the most n7 vouchers used!! :T

Test for pictures
[STRIKE] : Myoldmansadustman, you've stretched the message!! if you edit your message, on the menu the 7th symbol is the add message icon (there is a landscape image on that yellow button), if you click there, a window opens up. Just copy the web address from the nice birthday picture and you're done!![/STRIKE]
Dear Myoldmansadustman, I've just tried to insert our image in my message (via the image icon) and I got the image in this preview, but as soon as I save the changes I just get the webaddress... I have no clue as to what is going on. I guess Sally won't mind if you just write HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!0 -

I have a 500 points wys £10 and 500 points wys £15 so does the changing bag scan as an amount and how much is it?Thanks x
P.s the changing bag voucher is not in my name, can i use their card with it instead?
You can still get the additional points because when they scan the voucher for the free bag the till doesnt accept it, so they have to accept it as a Boots coupon and just deducts £29.99 so they till doesnt know it has been taken off. :j I got one for my sister, and may go back for one more for when Baby visits us so we got one too0 -
all I want for my birthday is...
