This definitely happened with me on No7 suncare at weekend and also with my Botanics hair mask on previous Saturday.
This happened to me last year when No7 suncreams were on bogof, but there were no signs up in my local store. On one occasion I bought 1 x glossy locks and a couple of days later I bought 1 x suncream. I was really mad when I found out much later the items were on bogof and I'd lost the reciepts, so I didn't go back to complain. It never occured to me to call CS (doh!). I've been seeking revenge ever since:rotfl:
It's my b'day today and I haven't even been to boots to celebrate:( I was too busy at work, but will make up for it tomorrow. Roll on wednesday, for new acm vouchers, glitches etc...:D0 -

Does anyone know if the till tells the SA that an item is on offer? It seems like the SA should tell you to get another one, and I know I have had SAs tell me something was 3 for 2 or BOGOF -- I never knew if they just were aware of the sale, or if the till gave them a prompt that an item was on offer. I also have gotten just two of something and later found it was 3 for 2 after I got home. If the till tells them about an offer and they aren't telling us, that's just crap service.0 -
Davidoff Game WAVE: I have to say I was a bit worried after reading here some of you hated the fragrance. I tried it in store and liked it, so ended up getting 3 of the 30 ml (I am a sucker for a bargain
), also to use as a gift. But your words have been bugging me so I opened one and tried it on myself. First minute, I thought I was gonna return the other ones!! But now it smells really nice.So word of advice: get into the store and spray some on yourself before you go cruising the aisles looking for bargains!! By the end of the shop, make up your mind.
Reduced fragrances: in one of my local store, the kind SA have updated the SEL with the reduced prices, which is great since we don't need to ask for price checks. To recap: you can get the Davidoff Game woman/ men 30 ml for £8 and the Echo Woman for £13.50 (after the vouchers have been used).
Morgan de Toi: Thanks to the OP who found this price reduction for the 60 ml £4 down from £16. The 35 ml is still £10. I had got this one, the 35 ml, for just £1.50 last year in the summer sale in London and used 2 for xmas gifts. My cousin told me she really like it so I got her a giftset at the perfume shop for £15. Now for £4, I have stocked up, also because I like the smell. It is more of a wintery smell to me. It reminds me of baby powder!! (I guess, those of you who are mums, don't need to be reminded of that)

Having said that, I got a voucher from a different Boots store at the weekend but it didn't show on my receipt at allMaybe the tills are set up differently from store to store, I believe some of the fragrance vouchers are actual tillspits, others are handed over from a pile, like the old pink No7 vouchers were. The SA may have forgotten to give you your voucher.
If you still have your receipt or you used your AC then CS should be able to sort it out for you.
Thanks, I will ring CS tomorrow. It says nothing on the bottom of the receipt0 -
Apologies if this has been posted already. Went to the ACM today and they had a voucher for Trevor Sorbie. If you buy any full size haircare product from Trevor Sorbie range (cheapest being Trevor Sorbie Freshen and shine spray @ £3.99) you get a free Trever Sorbie product of your choice from the Long Hair collection (most expensive being Trevor Sorbie Long Hair Serum @ £6.99).
SA had to do the discount manually at the till as it didn't go through automatically so make sure you get the long hair product free before you leave.
Hope this is useful0 -

I think the offer flashes up on the till, because I have heard - on more than on occasion - a SA (the nice ones) tell a customer to go and get another item because it is on bogof. When I bought the No7 nail sets on 3 4 2 I only picked up 2 because I forgot they were 3 4 2, but the lovely SA told me to go and get another one. I wish all SA's were like her!0 -
I can't believe how much I have spent in Boots over the past couple of weeks since deciding the current offers weren't for me!!
Just having a sort out-
I've bought
22 No 7 nail varnishes (2 sets of 6 for hampers, 6 for my sister and 3 for my Gran) = £27.50
2 eye liners= £7 (for hampers)
3 make up bases= £6 (for hampers)
1 eyeshadow= £4.50 (for my sister)
So I used 29 of the email/ print out No 7 vouchers :D
Total spend: £45
Total "value" of products £190 :D:eek::D (would never ever pay that for them though )
Probably the worst part is that I never bought more than 1 at a time! A friend tried to do this at the No 7 counter and they just got a bit narky & refused  So I was going in morning noon and night, paying upstairs and downstairs each time!! A right palava and I am actually glad the voucher is now out of date as it means I can have a rest
I've now got 5 No 7 GWPs (3 male, 2 female), a lifetimes supply of glossy locks(but it smells soooo goood
), 2 x P&P body serum, 4 x natural collection bags, 4 x reduced natural collection scrubs, enough suncream for me and my whole family for at least the next year & 3 of the S&G lip plumping sets! This is all from my local.
On two special trips to two different Boots stores, I found
2 x half price Jam Sessions £5
1 x med bubble bath £1.25
1 x Sanctuary heel balm £1.75
1 x aromatherapy body wash £1.30
1 x aromatherapy bubble bath £1.30
4 x mini brag books £0.75 each (not on bogof but did use 200 points ACM voucher)
Thanks so much for the tip on the Jemma Kidd emery boards:D:D
I got some today along with a couple of packs of the wipes which will be great for hampers.
I am really going to have to cut down on spending real money and try to run down my points for a bit lolI keep trying to pay with points but always seem to have vouchers/ points offers like today
I'm really hoping to get some S&G body butters for my hampers, but these have been full price in all of the branches I have been in. At least I could then finally pay with points :j
Thanks so much for all of the advice and help on here. I've now sorted all female pressies for Birthdays for the rest of the year & Christmas:D:D. Think I will have to get bigger hampers if I buy any more bits for them!! Just need to find somewhere to store it all now :rotfl:

I think the offer might pop up on the system after they scan the free item. But probably after they've done it for 20 times they'll naturally remember it.
I was told once the stuff I got are on 3 for 2 offer and the SA patiently waited for me to get the 3rd one from downstairs.0
