    Morning everyone.

Dh has been a star this morning and got up with both boys at 6 and left me lounging in bed. I managed till 8:45 before my boobs felt like they were going to explode, so came down expecting ds2 to need a feed as i had fed him at 6am, only to find DH had given him a 5oz bottle too. My god that boy can eat. I had to feed him too at 9:30 as well, and now he is zonked out. I wish he would do that through the night.

DH had fed ds1, and got him dressed, and then he has now taken him for a walk to the post office to post my amazon parcel and get some veggies for dinner from the shop. The washload he put on will be done by the time he gets back.

I have just sat here drinking tea. (i did deal with the post and take a few pots into the kitchen, but perhaps should think of doing something else - not dressed yet as i don't want to leave ds2 asleep on the sofa with both cats in)

I actually feel quite normal now, i think i slept deeper because of the walk with the double buggy yesterday. :D I am really enjoying this little bit of me time too. I'll have to try and return the favour tomorrow morning and not be selfish. ;)

Our plans for the weekend involve:
    • pack away some of the newborn/0-3 month clothes and put back in the loft
    • look through my non-maternity clothes so i can get dressed as i have no clean trousers otherwise - ds2 peed on me again yesterday
    • defrost fridge
    • food shop
    • make roast beef dinner
    • cut ds1 hair
    • flea treat ginger
    • go to local fete on sunday if weather ok
    • wash bedding - our bed, cot, travel cot bottom sheet
    • submit gas and elec meter readings
and again, will add to it as my memory remembers things i have forgotton

vanilla hope that situation resolves itself real soon

johanne hope you managed to get things sorted

    hugs to everyone else.

    Morning..

Vanilla - Ooh that sounds terrible! Some real scum in this world :(

(hugs) to everyone who needs them...

things are kinda back on track with me and OH - hes been told one more chance.... but now the b*tch wont leave him alone...!! text him all that night after id spoke to her and all day yesterday apparently even though he ignored her allegedly.. ..funny that i said hed be single and now she wont leave him alone

Miserable rainy day here........... got to go to sainsburys for few bits so going with mum and dad.. debating taking little one for first time or leaving her with daddy? But his plans are he wants to (in the rain?!) put together our picnic bench we got off my parents as a late engagement present last weekend so have to see... ( The irony after the shenanigans the past few days and the fact i took my engagement ring off on monday to clean the kitchen and he hasnt noticed i havent put it back on yet! )

Oooh got an ebay parcel this morning too a GORGEOUS 1940's style dress from new look - it only cost me £5.03 including postage! :D I ordered it for OHs birthday night out next weekend... tried it on before and he looked very impressed/shocked in a good way! Even DD cracked a wicked smile when i asked her did mummy look pretty?:rotfl: So hoping he'll realise thats he damn lucky at 32 to have a reasonably ok looking (i hope) 22 year old fiancee who cooks, cleans, pays the bills, and puts up with his crap so he better watch his step! :p:D

Pleased you're feeling a bit brighter Johanne.

Window people have just phoned and are now coming to fit the windows in a couple of weeks instead of in the school holidays as apparently they can fit them in a weekend!

DS has done nothing but cough today so don't think we'll be going out.

Sorted all my present cupboard out this morning and decided I don't need to buy DS anything else for his birthday even though it isn't until September!

    Hope everyone is okay.

    Hugs to all

I've obviously not been posting for ages. When was DS2 born , Michelle? And belated congratulations
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hi All

Quick update (as comp at work keeps going off line:mad: ). Didnt get job but dont really care. Was telling Mum about it yesterday afternoon and told her it wasnt what I wanted hours wise so I would probably have turned it down anyway:p . Still got me back in the flow of interviews and made me think about having some "wow - statements" I can throw in to make myself sound, well wow! - do you think they would notice me blushing and my nose getting longer:o .

Right have saved and now editing. Not much flying today as at work but house all spick and span anyway so hoping it will be the same when I get in from work.

Reading between the lines from what my manager said at work this morning come summer hols my hours will be cut which means i will loose about 1/4 of my monthly income so not the best of news there. Although it is so boring, I have had company for an hour max today.

Hugs to all. Bonsi I would like your facebook id thingy please

I am officially knackered. Did the Race for life 5k run this morning with DD. We've not done any training as we've both had this virus for a couple of weeks though DD does run with school every week. I said we'd run at her pace and she has officially killed me. She ran/jogged the first 3k, jogged/walked the fourth kilometre and ran the last one. I managed to keep up (just). I'm so proud of her as she's only 9. Last year we did it in 49 minutes, this year we did it in 43.10. She's a star. Don't think i'll be able to move for the next few days!!!!

    Hugs to all xx
