    Morning ladies

We too have had rain overnight.

Cats caught a bird and mouse overnight.

I've read teh last two weeks saturday papers and recycled them. Chatted to postlady (she is batty) on the doorstep about the man next door dying - bless she had a thick envelop addressed to him and did not know whether to knock - I advised to leave it on the doorstep as family are in and out all day and it is very quiet street, no footpath ourside so it will be fine.

    DW and WM machine emptied.

Quick tidy of the kitchen in order and checking mails to see if DS2 cricket game is on or off.

If it is on I will combine with Tesco if it is off I will do living room after shower - kids in their at the moment.

DS2 cricket not cancelled yet so he has had to go in the drizzle - he is so not impressed!

DS3 getting ready for footie in the rain 'I'm like a professional' he said 'they play in the rain'.

Shower for me and try on the new top the post lady delivered - hope I like it on as I need something to wear tonight.

    Morning

Kids slept out last night so the house is quiete this morning, I'm just pottering around working through the list in my head. Went to scrub the honking rug but my Stardrops has gone missing grrrrrr so It'll have to wait till tomorrow now when a trip to Wilkinsons is on the cards *tuts* neh mind...

Got a couple of wash loads I need to lug round to OH's then back here to hopefully hang out but the weather's looking a bit iffy :undecided Got a private job this avo for about an hour-ish but it's £16 for my washing machine fund, at last lol there's always something else that crops up to scupper my savings plans, still doing the weekly web saver savings though ;)

Just waiting for the kitchen floor to dry then I'm off to littleys room to see if I can open the door enough to make a start on it, bin bags at the ready......

The deckchair I'm after for my garden for ME to sit in is out of stock, typical as it takes me ages to choose lol

hope everyone's well, Johanne you're going through it a bit at the minute (((((hugs for you)))))

A quick pop in from me, i havent managed any flying towards the end of the week but I am a master at cutting tiles and we nearly have the bathroom tiled, the plumber is coming back next weekend to fit the bath suite so we should be finished in time.

Havent had time to read through the thread but Vanilla hugs to you and your PIL how awful for them, I hope they get things cleared up soon and that it doesnt mean too much expense for them.

Bits for the weekend for me -
    tesco shop
[STRIKE]school uniforms [/STRIKE](last week for mine they break up on wed:eek: )
    [STRIKE]
    s&s lounge
    s&s kitchen
    clean loo
    feed fish
[/STRIKE]look out waterproofs for tomorrow - we are meant to be going to the Highland Show but forecast not great.

okay enough lounging around with the laptop need to shower and get the day started (cant you tell OH has been away overnight and its just the girls at home, i've been sat here for nearly an hour and they have watched TV.)

    back later.

Finally managed to get the in shower. Don't like the top so now either need to do hand sewing to see if current top can be adjusted or go to the shops in the rain.

DS1 doing homework and making sure I am fully aware of the torture of it.

    Morning all :D

    HUGS TO ALL :D:D :grouphug:

Its a lovely wet day here  But I'm in a good mood as I managed a lie-in - be it only until 9am-ish but its a lie in :rotfl: I needed it after next door decided they were going to start celebrating (or was it a post going out celebration?) someones birthday at midnight and woke me up  They were still going strong at 3am along with music, didn't bother complaining to them though as it was a damnsight more pleasant than listening to them having a domestic. Besides I'm getting my own back ATM, I've just received my latest eBay purchase - Robson & Jerome CD :D (I got their second album from a local charity shop earlier in the week ;) ) so thats erm..playing and DD and I are singing along rather loudly ;) :rotfl::rotfl:

We're off out today, but I've had to do a wash load first - somehow I've run out of underwear and clean tops and long jeans  I only washed on Wednesday I think so how the hell thats happened I don't know. So while thats in the TD I'm doing some of the long standing clothing repairs ;) My coat is fixed, just about to tackle DD's jumper then there is a pair of PJs, 2 coats of DD's and a cloak...at least thats what I can see :o

Morning all. Miserable day here. Twins don't want to go to their golf lesson so at least I'll save a £10 and some petrol.

Right I need to get my butt in gear.

    My list for today:

    Bathroom

    Clean shower cubicle
    S&S toilet and sink

    Kitchen
    Washing up and bleach sink
    Load WM
    Wipe down appliances and cupboards
    clean windows
    sort out fridge
    sweep floor

    Living Room
    sweep and wipe floor
    polish furniture
    wipe down sofa
    declutter
    Bedrooms and stairs

    vac stairs and bedrooms
    polish and clean iccie marks
    declutter

    extras

    Make bread
    Tax credits form.

    Quick query:

We have had a pipe leaking under the sink (slow dripping so didn't notice until the damage was done)

It has warped the sink unit and seeped into the corner cabinet next to it. Is it worth claiming on my house insurance to get the units replaced?

I am really gutted cos my kitchen is only two years onld and is my pride and joy.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
