hi everyone.
having a bit of a busy week. I am trying to keep up with the thread, but if i want to achieve anything in the house or get anything else done, then it has to be my 2nd priority. Shame though as i miss it.
Anyway, i will update what i have managed.
yesterday - hoovered kitchen, living room and dining room, did a load of light washing, washed a load of light kids clothes, had the woman from the surestart centre come to visit and spent most of the day feeding DS2 and dealing with the grumps from ds1.
today - i have- washed Ds2s bedding as 2 grobags copped it through the night, and they are on the line blowing
- peeled spuds and carrots for lunch
- gone to baby clinic - ds2 now 12Ib4oz
- had a cuppa while ds1 had a snack in the community cafe
- paid a cheque into the bank finally, and made an appointment for next Tuesday to open ds2 a savings account
- been to supermarket - bought a cheap beef joint, bread, milk and carrots - going to try buying things as we need them like last time i was on maternity leave as i had to throw quite a few bits out this morning as the fridge resembled a science project - and that annoys me at the waste
- posted DVD rental back
- got the boys home, ds1 put in bed, shopping away, ds2 fed and then asleep
- checked emails - did survey and wrapped an amazon sale - only a couple of quid but the 2nd sale in a week so more carp gone
Anyway, need the loo, then i suppose i should start cooking lunch, as we missed it, and then wake ds1 up to eat.
Michelle, x0 -
Dusty I will join you till 2.45 when I have to go and collect DS1. WM is now on, and I have put a curry in the slow cooker - otherwise a pathetic lack of flying has happened here today.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Why does decluttering seem easier to do today than the actual cleaning?
Ah well, getting little things done and alot of decluttering. Just thrown out another binbag of stuff mainly from my room  How the hell I had so much in there I don't know. I also managed to find a box of "offer to people"/ebay/charity shop stuff  Which needs stashing ontop of the fridge before DD gets in and tries to retrieve stuff.
Just had lunch (the last "fresh" potato as a jacket spud with the end of a jar of mayo and some mozarella  ) and finishing my cuppa. BM smells divine and is due to finish any time
DD has requested a night in, so no walk to the duck pond unless she changes her mind, but I'll put Star Wars 3 on for her while I fly instead. Something fishy for tea tonight since its Friday, don't know what yet but it will be something fishy as I have tinned tuna, salmon encroutes, breaded fish, white fish fillets and smoked coley () and thats just off the top of my head
:rotfl: Which reminds me I should really sort out my inventory....

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hex - OMG that's outrageous that tesco was charging so much for it. I think that's the best suntan lotion but it's so thick it doesn't rub in and the children end up looking like white ghosts. Tempted though I am I can't do that to them!!
Dusty - i'm with you on the last minute revision though I am three days early this time. I rewrite and rewrite my notes until they're as condensed as they can be. By the time I come to learn them I find that I already know great chunks of it.
Ok, I now know all about the structure and function of bones, functions of the skeleton and how the foot is contructed and what the arches of the foot are for. I'm going to go over it once more and i'll learn the nervous system at the allotment which actually means i've learnt 2 and a half pages so i'm ahead of schedule!!!! Whoooooooo!
Johanne - hope things are ok xx0 -
pigpen, seriously try Freecycle for crutches, amazing how many people are like us and don't hand them back, we'd have had 2 sets if DPs friend at work haddn't smashed his leg up, you might however be better asking for a physio referal.
hex2 Barkeepers Friend! http://www.lakeland.co.uk/content/products/8/8/6/8868_large.jpg loads of places inc Tesco and Wilkinsons I have seen it sold. I don't think the baths work very well (my Dad used to collect brasses)
Dusty, thank you for asking, I'm surviving on coffee and proplussorry, assignment needs doing so had to keep away somehow, so next week I'll be trying to get myself back off the excess caffeine
Michelle, never worry about keeping up, you have enough to do. Oh I haven't checked Facebook for ages is there any new piccies of the boys on there?
WOHOOOOO!!! Question 1 is done!! I've not even allowed myself lunch until it was done, if I'd got off the chair it'd have been left again, so currently trying to scoff lunch and type as I have about 5 minutes for that and toilet before DS2 needs picking up. DP asleep so will leave him in for DS1. Got to take him to pick his car up after school but he'll have to wait as DS2 will want to go to the park, as usual.
Right, 5 minutes I mentioned is almost up so loo, quick brush of my mop and dash for DS2, trying not to give myself cramp, all at the same time, all fun stuff isn't it. Might be late when I pop back as I'm mid meal plan so might brave taking the boys shopping seeing as we'll be up that way................toodles.
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Right - lunch cooking, and the sink and drainer have been scrubbed, and i washed up all of todays pots so far.
lil-me is it really a year since you moved? That has gone scarily quickly - although it must be as it was round then i ran it for a week when you were away.
dishwashers - cor i wish we had room for one, as we suddenly are going through a lot more pots now we are at home 3 meals a day. I leave a lot of it for Dh though as my hands get really dry and crack, even with gloves.
shell glad the interview went well. Sounds like you are shrinking away. nicki too. I think i need to do some of that.
Right, i think i might have some spuds to smash and a boy to wake up - i hope he isn't too grumpy but he has been asleep 3 hours already, and that is what i know of as he fell asleep at some point on the way home.
I do know the house is a lot tidier for going out for a few hours - good planning there, as it will be easier to get some cleaning done then while DH is around at the weekend0 -
