Sounds like you need to slow down a bit Mary, can be hard to do that when you feel better but doing too much too soon can set you back. So, slow and steady missus, so lovely to see you back though ;)

I've found such a lovely website today, it's probably been metioned before but here you go anyway... http://www.makethemomentlast.co.uk/ They currently have loads of beautiful papers and other stuff in the sale (up to 60% off) and an under £10 spend means £1.75 p&p. I got loads of 12x12 papers, some from 20p for £7 something. They have Basic Grey papers in the sale too Mel, they are absolutely beautiful :D

Can anyone help me. I am looking for a 12 x 12 album with a ringbind inside.
Preferable a plain or chipboard covering .
Im a bit poor ,like many of us ,at the moment so am looking for one as cheap as possable. I had a 12 x 12 with the posts but being a newbie my pages are too thick and it burst !

cat72 - can't help you with the album I'm afraid. Sorry but I'm sure someone around will be able to.

I need a bit of help myself. Want to do a sort of scrapbook of mums photos for her friend as a keepsake. Got the album, got the paper but not sure whats the best way to 'frame' the photos I stick in. I don't want to end up buying a pack of assorted frames that are the wrong size and can only think of trying to create my own using odd bits of paper.
    Any ideas ?

Hi mary, can you layer your photos onto your papers with an edge showing and then cut round? You could cut straight or wavy lines to vary the presentation and then pop onto your page in the album. What do you think?

Sorry cat72, I can't help with your query either.

rainmac - thanks for the idea..........don't really want to 'layer' the photos but like the idea of cutting them with a wavy edge..........maybe I could then stick the photos on to a darker background (or colour to suit) so it looks like a sort of frame.

Yep, that sounds good, could always try without sticking anything and see what you think?

rainmac - I'll do that. I want to put little bits of writing in as well explaining a bit about the picture plus a few bits about mum so it'll be a lot of 'trial and error' -hopefully without the error............lol

Have to fit in between my cross stitch...........I only just started it, doing the tea cup for a coaster for MIL -remember that ? Only done 3 rows so far as neighbour called in.
I know I've gone wrong on a couple of places but not so you'd notice -well you might...............lol

Cat72 - sorry its taken me a while to reply, I'm sure I saw an album somewhere that you can decorate yourself, but I can't remember where it was. I'll have a look in a minute and see if I can find anything suitable.
Mary - I've never framed my pics on my pages, I've always done as Rainmac suggested and just mount the pics on one or two pieces of cardstock.

melissa - thanks. Nice to know someone's done it that way and its been ok

cat - not sure if this helps but you could try calico crafts (sorry can't do the link)
If you look on 'blank albums and books' theres an altered art album fr £3.99.but it screws together rather than rings. Size is 33cm x 31cm x 3.8cm
Not a clue what that is in inches - sorry - bit of a numpty with stuff like that.
If thats no good I'm sure melissa will come up with something
