    Thanks rainmac and hels.
Just had to pop on and let you know I finished my first ever scrapbook of gardening quotes for foster daughter. Wish I'd taken photos now but didn't have camera and its her birthday on Sunday. Its going in her gardening hamper. Wanted an image of a rabbit to make a tag for a packet of lettuce seeds - was going to put 'bunny food' on it............her garden does get plagued by rabbits................lol -printer won't play though so
Hopefully OH will remember to get little greetings card with a rabbit on in the morning.

I'm so thrilled !! Just finished little scrapbook for my sons birthday next weekend. Well, its a little 3 x 3 board book really. Just covered the pages with funky paper and did a load of 'art' quotes...........stained them with coffee to age them a bit.........nothing more than that except on the from an embellishment with 'Just for You' on it. Simply and sweet -I think anyway.......lol:j

Welcome back Mary - hope you're feeling lots better now.

The board just hasn't been the same without you and your unique descriptions :D. Looking forward to hearing about your new creations.

    xx

Mary, I've seen somewhere that if you email Lakeland Ltd and request a copy of their Gardening catalogue you get a free packet of lettuce seeds.

Great to see you back, we've all missed you loads, now don't go overdoing it will you ;)

rainmac - thanks but I'd already got some free lettuce seeds - it was a bunny I was after. Found one among my 'hoard', wrapped its paws round the packet and stuck a label on it saying 'bunny food'...............foster daughters just been and collected her pressie -she was thrilled.........loved the scrapbook (relief as its the first one I've done !)

Just need to finish off sons shoe box........it's full up except for a card I'm sticking a tea bag in for him with a tea poem. Done him a retro sweet box as well but need some more sweets -must ask OH to pick some up then I can shove it in a jiffy bag.
I'm sure he'll not be bothered that I haven't covered his shoe box with nice funky paper this time. He wouldn't be bothered if I did nothing but I do it every year........so not missing this one.

Bit of a weak and wobbly day today though so maybe tomorrow.........OH can post it Wednesday and he should get it for the weekend.

Two more scrapbooks to fill (bargains at Colemans!)but they'll have to wait I think. One was for photos of mum for her friend but can't bring myself to go through them at the minute. The other is for a friend with birthday in November.......plenty of time. Not rushing anything
